Is that asking if the current eleven is better than a Liverpool select eleven from the PL years excluding any current players? If so, that's ridiculous, not to mention embarrassing!
I'm guessing it doesn't mean a select eleven but a team that played together. I think, can't be certain, that the right hand picture is an actual starting line-up.
I thought it merely asked if 2018-19 team is better than 2008-09 team. not a full all time prem team. for the record 08/09 had great strengths but the team was weaker than now. Gerrard torres. masch and Alonso. kuyt working like a dog.. carragher.. reina. good team but full backs were weaker and after and benayoun were not at the same level. our current line up... well... let's see what they do over 3 months now. front 3. kieta.. vvd.. Allison.. Robertson. some guys need to just prove themselves.
I only had a quick glance, didn't even click on it. A comparison between the two sides is quite difficult but I'd go for the current team purely based on it being more entertaining
Now that I've looked properly it does show today's team vs team 10 years ago but it asks ''is it the best in PL history'' so a bit misleading. I agree with your choice of the current team, for the same reason
