Don't you just love it when someone tries to be condescending and fails?

In my opinion people who go now are just like the scabs in the miners strike. If there was a nicer way of saying "someone who does not feel the need to join the strike action then I would have used that word. Actually I'm lying I like the word scab. If someone called me a scab it wouldn't bother me one iota and I think anyone who takes offence is a bit of a wimp.
I'm not confused. I think if everyone boycotted it would work. But I suspect there will never be a big enough boycott due to selfish fans putting their needs to go "an watch the footy" over trying to halt the cancer at the club. Just like the city till I die protests, deep down I feared there wouldn't be enough take up but it didn't stop me from taking part. Can you see how I thought that would shame the Allams too but deep down I suspected there were too many winkers who wouldn't take part or daren't for fear of rocking the premiership boat.
Yes I am 12 inches long how did you know (setting himself up for the massive cock or big dick retort.)

I seem to remember you being an Allams luvvy so do you mind not responding to this post please?
Unless you feel the need to be condescending or nasty. Then fill your boots.
Why do people on here feel the need to argue like teenage girls?

A boycott. If it was a large enough take up it would work in shaming the Allams.
    Simples.

That's why I've had to distance myself from the club. I don't think I could live with myself still going to games like a nodding dog and not doing anything about our evil owners. There are loads like me.
To be honest I wonder why I still post on here because I can tell most of the posters here wouldn't have been the kind of fan who I would have been happy to rub shoulders with.

I'm guessing you've never been involved in real industrial action.
I must have missed the ballot for a boycott.

    It all makes sense now.
You are going through a period of grandeur
Comparing a football supporter going to a scab.
    Give it a rest.

So you think your son is a selfish scab, but you haven’t suggested to him that he stops being those things by boycotting?

As Fer Ark says I doubt you’ve taken part in long term strike action, or you would understand better the impact of the word ‘scab’ and wouldn’t be happy to be called one yourself

    We get it.

You think your son's a selfish scab.

Personally, I'm just glad he clearly doesn't listen to you.

    So, riddle me this then.

Let's say nobody turns up to a game. Apart from the away fans, of course. The lads lose. Given that it's been proven time after time that the Allams don't really care what the media say about them, how is playing in front of an empty stadium going to help our team?

The media sorts will say "well you can't blame the fans" but they can't actually do anything about the owners, no matter how many hurtful stories they print. Somebody isn't going to be looking at it and saying "Ye gods, that club needs saving!", nor will the Allams go "we clearly aren't wanted, let's leave right now."

They don't give a **** about the fans, it matters not one jote to them whether we go or not (despite Ehab's failing attempts at saying we matter). They make their money from sponsors, advertising and TV revenue. We contribute a mere percentage of that. They know their legacy is ****ed, they aren't interested in rescuing it.

The most important thing is the team. Without it, there isn't a club. As the old Newcastle adage goes, support the team, not the regime. The lads on the pitch need to be able to perform, it's their job. And as supporters, we need to support them (clue is in the name, really). If you aren't supporting the players, then good, don't go. We don't need people at the game who prioritise off the pitch shenanigans with the actual game. You'll notice that the people that protest do so while also supporting the players, they don't go simply to have a go at the owners. The owners will go, of course they will. Protesting works in the ground where they can hear it. Not turning up just gives them licence to say you're not needed anyway, especially if the team continues to win.

You'll never get a total boycott, because I'll always keep going. Huh. You're right. It doesn't matter that you call me a scab. Fancy that.

I simply disagree, nowadays the team is just a collection of overpaid mercenaries here today and gone tomorrow. You know that. I think the players can live without our support and no one will die but without our support maybe the Allams might be shamed into moving on? With only a 1000 or so at the game we might just make it off the back pages of the Hull Daily Mail into the nations or dare I say worlds press. Surely its got to be worth a go?

The Allams have actually done me a big favour. Football is **** nowadays. Most grounds are like a morgue. The atmosphere was, in my youth, the only reason I went.

And so you finally get to the point. You aren’t boycotting anything, you’ve just gone off football. And weirdly, you want other City supporters to go off football with you. Can’t help you mate.
