So you can't actually put the Derby cup game on your 'member' card ? I thought that was the way everything was been done now
I have my Derby cup ticket on my card and got the email confirmation so you should not have any problem. I think you probably dropped down under 'access card. and saw eticket and paper and failed to realise that you don't select these as access card is the default to get the match onto your matchday card.
just tried to order tickets as a season card holder for the game next Tuesday. Cant add them to my season card either, rung them up and as im not sitting in the exact seats i normally am because they have shut the bloody stand you cant add them to your card. I was told due to the short time till the game that i would have to collect a ticket from the ground or print one off as they don't want to post one out. what a joke!
Maybe I didn't get the option because I was on a mobile device rather than a proper pc? Anyway, bit concerned now reading what Hulltigs said because I requested paper tickets, one week notice has always been fine before but I notice they didn't actually charge the quid postage. May end up calling them anyway to find out what's happening. Why is it so pigging difficult to buy an effing ticket...
It gave me an option of a ticket to be posted , but didn't trust them to put stamp on correctly so I printed it off .
I phoned them yesterday and bought two tickets on season cards, and a further ticket for a north stander which they're posting out! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I tried it yesterday , didn't get an option to put it on my card , it defaulted to printout and the only other option was to get a ticket posted out In the actual instructions it said you will get 3 options , but the drop down menu only had the 2 , this was on a laptop
You have to be logged in with the account that your season card is associated with, in order to add it to your card. Took me a couple of attempts to realise that.
You don't select either of the drop down menu options, you let it default to access card to have it loaded onto the card and you have to be logged in.
Amended from a great Steve Martin line. How to get a ticket for a ****ing Cup game... “You can start by wiping that ****ing dumb-ass smile off your rosey, ****ing, cheeks! Then you can give me a ****ing ticket... a ****ing East stand, a ****ing West, a ****ing North, a ****ing South! Any ****ing stand I don't ****ing care! Four ****ing tickets and seats! And I really don't care for the way your company left me in the middle of ****ing nowhere with a ****ing **** online ticketing site promising me tickets that aren't ****ing there. And I really don't care to ****ing walk down all the way to the ****ing ticket office and across a ****ing park full of ****ing kids to get here to have you smile at my ****ing face. I want a ****ing ticket RIGHT ****ING NOW!”
Before making my last post, I re-checked and logged on via laptop. You can only view the eticket and paper drop down options by clicking on 'access card' in the first place. As I said before , it will default to loading on your card if you leave alone the eticket and paper options. If you cant do it next time, perhaps the ticket office might talk you through it.
FFS.... Not having a go at you, thanks for the info. But I consider myself to be pretty computer literate, and experienced in getting tickets online to gigs etc where you have to be all logged in and ready to go the minute they go on sale. Never had this kind of issue before, which to my mind shows the ticketing system really hasn't been thoroughly use-tested. Poor management & implementation, cost-cutting & not giving a stuff about the end user. Another day at Hull City AFC.
