I think we are beginning to realise the Tango years were ok albeit the start of something crazy ... both were businessmen of sorts and hooked a real mug like TF It was however really exciting and we have to thank TF in a strange way for being completely daft They tried playing the football thing but failed SLF well would anyone else employ him in football ... I say again stick him the club shop as a legend The club thought they were good and still believe it I reckon but it was a real shock when I saw behind the scenes.... all fur coat and no knickers
How lucky is this fella ? The last time he was over was when we lost 2-5 at home to Forest. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45271994
In a nutshell hard to disagree with https://talksport.com/football/efl/...-qpr-simon-jordan-queens-park-rangers-owners/
Hope you boys start picking up some results. I did say that Schteve is a shocking manager though............. some managers who are free: - big sam - Carlos Carvahal - don't really know anyone else in the lower leagues. Maybe try nick Lutons manager or something
Still finding things hard to accept Searching the Internet re QPR Off the official This is what we are dealing with at the club st the moment Football is about ends ... good god Oh my days 1 he said that 2 the club published that That is not acceptable stuff read it yourself QPR boss Steve McClaren admitted his side need to be better at both ends of the pitch after their 3-0 defeat against Bristol City. Rangers fell behind four minutes before the break after Matty Taylor’s opener for the visitors before Andreas Weimann doubled the Robins lead after the break. Weimann then added a third in stoppage time as the R’s winless run stretched to four matches. “We have worked with this group now for two months and for large parts it is very good but we are getting punished quickly and easily for our mistakes,” McClaren told www.qpr.co.uk. “Football matches are about one end and the other and we aren’t good enough in both at the moment. “We know we need help, we’ve 10 days left of the window. The message to the supporters is that we are working tirelessly behind the scenes to improve the squad. This is a talented squad but it needs help.” QPR enjoyed the better of the chances in the opening exchanges following their 7-1 defeat at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. That followed a more direct style from the R’s that nearly paid dividends when Conor Washington was denied midway through the first half. But it wasn’t to be as McClaren suffered his fourth loss in a row. “We asked after Saturday for attitude,” he said. “We adapted and changed and played a bit more direct in the first half. “I was looking for a reaction after Saturday, I thought they came out brightly and determined. “We needed the first goal but that is what has been happening to us, first shot on target and it goes in. “We regroup, the second shot at goal and it is 2-0. We are then chasing and chasing which is not ideal. “I couldn’t fault their attitudes but we aren’t getting the rub of the green. We aren’t keeping clean sheets and we aren’t scoring goals so we aren’t winning games."
Not picking on you DS but there's too many fans echoing your theme... It doesn't matter how rich they are, nor how willing they are to spend a "squillion dollars", owners are bound by the current version of Financial Fair Play which limits the amount of losses they can incur. I'd bet my house, wife and kids that our current owners would LOVE to splash the cash but they CAN'T. Have we not learned our lesson? What part of a £42 million fine do we not understand?
Like i do? We finnish are bit stubborn. However i fear, that he is so young he even might change a new club for himself
'Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till its gone' (Joni Mitchell) I wonder how many on here are regretting their criticism of Holloway now that its clear he had the support of the dressing room and could inspire a second half comeback - where McClaren clearly cannot? Should have gone for Ainsworth. What's Bircham doing now?
I'm not in any way regretting my criticism of Holloway. I'm just getting over those away days!! Granted it's not looking any better and probably worse but as I've said before, Smithies, onohua and Robinson have all left. 3 major players from Holloways season. To be honest I don't think any manager could do much with these players. The back 4 last night looked more like a lower div 1 defence. I was pleasantly surprised by the BFG against Preston but he clearly lacks any pace. The midfield are so overrated by some of our fans. What does Luongo actually do? Scowen is just a harrier, ten a penny in the lower divisions. Freeman is decent but drifts in and out of games. Eze has potential but he's never going to be a superstar commanding fees like Sterling did. Not going to get started on the strikers!!
