I went, I'm a R and stuck it out to the end....and clapped the players as they tried... We were okay in first half...and should have been 2 up before they scored. Ingrams was at fault In second half we should have again scored but Conor could not find Eze quick enough and Smith did not get a penalty for a blatant two handed clear push in the back ( when you are down there is no luck,)...that is the positives....but when we went 1 down we completely disintegrated. The game plan went out the window. We had started by playing balls into Conor to run into but when we went ,1-0 down .we start playing long balls and brought Smith on but took of Wszolek..we run around like headless chickens from than on.. Lots of effort but no confidence and no plan. I am really sure the players were not sure what plan B was...unlike Ollie's team that played to the end with the aim of scoring somehow....there was not the belief tonight. Where was Steve...no idea...he was not on the touchline shouting... The players obviously don't believe in him Can we afford to sack him...don't think so Will he walk no I am sure. It will be a long hard season. It will be a miracle if we are in the Championship this time next year.. And I am the optimistic one on this board Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Not to mention the fans, like you, who wanted Holloway to be replaced. Let's not forget that. We know Tony wants nothing more than to be patted on the head because he does what the fans' tell him to do. Where is Ellers?
He asked to be judged after 10 games Big gamble now having lost the first 4 Still, look on the brightside, Norwich are only 1 point better off
Ingram should have saved the first one, but it was shocking defending from Bidwell too. I agree that the players don't seem to have bought into Steve's ideas at all. Surely we should be getting more from players like Luongo, Freeman and Pavel?
Good summary - first 30 mins was ok. Conor missed sitter but worked the channels well. Then it all went pear with the soft goals in the 5 mins either side of half time (bit of a recurring theme from the last 3 games). After that, I’m speechless. It was atrocious. Winger off, big CF on??? Then who the **** knows what formation we had with all our deadly strikers on the pitch at the same time & Cousins at RB...there was a lot of confused looks and pointing as to where people should be. Absolute shambles Positives - at least we weren’t in Pink.... Assume Wigan need a confidence booster in sat
Don’t post very often but what a pile of kack that was ! Beth is right though as soon as we went a goal down that was it... don’t think the boys thought themselves they could get back into it. To be honest no one will want the job, if they can’t bring in their own players. Think it’s time for Steve to take that umbrella and shove it up everyone’s ‘jacksy’ and show us that he can actually coach a team.
Very easily I say. We have a board who sacks a manager for securing a boring mid to lower table position with an average roster, to appoint a higher profile manager with baggage, whilst selling off any half decent players we had left. We had a chance to secure a player or two to start the season but no, our top heavy management with our much needed DoF thought better of it to let our new mastro of managers with his high profile ability to bring in nobody, thus shooting ourselves in the foot, before a ball was kicked in anger. Now, we are endeavoring to halt the carnage. Blooody idiots our board. There is possibly only one person who can get us out of this and whether we like or loathe him, he's proven he can do it ........... Fat Sam*. Anyone else and its an elevator down to League 1. ( * The board need to bring in some loans, asap )
Beginning to look like a bizarre decision. The triumvirate of Luongo, Scowen and Freeman needs to be broken up.
I cant beleive the amount of people who are saying we should of kept Holloway........we were **** and going nowhere with him in charge and sadly we haven’t replaced him with anyone decent so we are still ****. We really wasn’t the messiah, whatever rose coloured specs some on here seem to be wearing. I await the abuse with relish....

Is there any possibility that there is a doomsday clause in McClaren's contract where if we are in the bottom three after 10 games that his contract can be terminated without penalty? If not, shouldn't there be?
I seem to recall us losing 6 under Hollow and him making the worst team selections and tactics for years. besides, that's history. As I always said we should never have let Warnock go. it's quite simple. We have been badly run club for years and it has finally caught up with us. The players have been getting diluted for some time and not replaced. Washington is a poor mans Austin for example. TF knew or should have known that the team wasn't very good and lacked experience. What did he do ? Nothing, no replacements for the experienced lost over the summer. instead of addressing the situation TF via Hoos puts out another stadium article. Seriously not good enough to lose the games like we have and SM needs to sort or he will be given his P45, but I won't boo or criticise young players like Ezy and co who are trying in a tough league.. I heard Scteev say tonight on Radio 5 that funds had been given and 2 players were incoming. Let's hope one is a striker
