Jonas better than Obertan and should be included in this year's team.

Technically, this years is stronger, but goals win games, not passing the ball around and looking pretty.

 

Last years team would beat this years team, but probably not have as much of the ball.

 

Was 50/50 on Jonas over Obertan and Marv

Dont think we should play Santon and Jonas on the left together tho as both Right footers and will leave us very unbalanced

 

can't judge that Jose is better than Santon as we haven't seen him in a toon shirt but Jose more proven than Santon. Santon has more potential IMO

 

and we are really just hoping that the HBA we get back is the one that played so well for us once

 

Shola played 27 games mate, and he stared 26 of them. He only came on as a sub once from my memory.

 

Figures I quoted were starts and taken from NUFC.com, Shola started 21 sub in 7 according to them

 

Make a good team with Hba, tiote, ba and collo missing (all possible with suspensions/ injuries). I challenge you.

Ahh, so we're back to Willo, Guthrie, Obertan (headless chicken) and Best.

Awesome.

 

Don't understand why people say Jose is better than Santon when we haven't seen him play for us. One thing I do know Santon has 7 international caps at the age of 20 compared to Jose's 0 caps.
And those who say Santon shouldn't play on the left? Messrs Mourinho, Lippi & Giampaolo would disagree as they've all played him at left back

 

I prefer Guthrie, hope he comes back from his injury in decent form. Gosling I rate but had a shocker against Scunny, hopefully he'll improve with more match fitness.

Willo is solid but not spectacular, Guthrie is a good player when played in CM, Obertan has had a decent start and is more of a threat that what we're used to on the wings, Best has a cracking goalscoring record for us. It could be worse

Personally I think Jose is one of the best left backs around, Santon will be good for us but he's not exactly at the level of the bull. There are many reasons Jose hasn't been capped for Spain - Capdevilla, Arbeloa, our relegation, our general ****ness etc. I can see Santon struggling for call ups too now he's playing for a ****e team
