They do say that, but when it suits them I'm sure they've overulled their own rule. Which is another point. It's their rule so they can change it if they want. I'm sure if certain players had something nasty happen to them the circumstances would suddenly be different.
Penalty to Liverpool? I haven't seen it but standard question - would Palace have got a penalty if the circumstances were reversed?
The answer -as if you couldn't guess - is no. Earlier Milner came through the back of a Palace player but because he got a toe on the ball it's deemed not a foul. Later a Palace player puts in a tackle, gets the ball, Milner goes down and gets the free kick and Palace player booked.
That's right, Very nice of you to come and dump that one on here. They'll all be here in the next few days, the loonies of the Klopp/Salah cult with their weird beliefs and all. We'll never hear the bloody end of it............
Palace look half decent. But game over with 10 men sadly. Utd's season could be over by this time next week. Lose to Spurs and there's no realistic chance of pulling back a 6 point deficit on City, Spurs, Liverpool & Chelsea. Hopefully, Mourinho will go in those circumstances or the players will mutiny and play it their own way.
A Palace player gets a red card for a foul on Mo Daley, but it wasnt denying a goal scoring opportunity as he lost control of the ball, so should have been a yellow. Oliver has well and truly facked over Palace here.
The narrative is on. Liverpool are the runners-up elect and nobody is going to get in the way of it. Unfortunately it's much harder for a ref to give a controversial decision against Liverpool, but the same decision for them isn't seen as controversial. For exactly the same decision in favour of Liverpool all the pundits say "you can see why the ref gave it" and if the exact situation were reversed they'd say "you can see why the ref didn't give it". But decisions against the grain get far more attention, and the refs don't want that.
Man Utd: Jose Mourinho gets board's backing, club not considering Zinedine Zidane http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45253623 So - gone by the end of the week, anyone??
the minute he goes we will have 3 weeks of "Pochettino to United" media demands...sorry...media exclusives. So here's hoping he stays for ever!
It’ll be ****ing typical that he’ll get sacked before playing us, then some caretaker will miraculously restore the players confidence in less than 24 hours, resulting in us getting a huge pasting. Pogba to score a hatrick, smalling and Jones to have the games of their lives, and Lukaku demonstrating a sublime first touch for the first time in his career.
