Again with the attempted wum deflection. Is it an illness with you, are you incapable of having a proper discourse? If your performance was appalling today and barely passable last week, what does the season hold for you? Outside the top 4 and will Everton or Burnley steal your EL place (see I can do it too)
2 games in and judging the season. If you lose tomorrow where will that leave you? Just out of interest, where do you see a wum deflection? I think you are a little biased in what you read
We're talking about ManU and you keep turning back into a where Liverpool will finish with an insistence on 4th or lower (this has been going on for weeks, wasn't smart or witty then either). So where will ManU finish this season?? If we lose tomorrow that'll leave us with 36 game to play
Funnily enough exactly the same as us I am hoping we finish in the top 4, no guarantees though. Where do you think you will finish?
Top 4, with an eye on 1st or 2nd (although I think Citeh will still be too much to catch) Why do you believe Liverpool will miss out on the top4, which you have implied many times? Or are you just doing it to wum or are you just biased? For the record I believe ManU will probably finish 3rd or 4th
I don't, you are no more likely to miss out than us or Spurs. The fact is last season you were closer to missing out than the other two so when it comes to someone being replaced in the top 4 you are at most threat (from last seasons standings). This season could see more than one change in the top 4 and only City are exempt from this. Remember Leicester? All I do is point out that there are other teams out there capable of getting 4th place and at the moment that is yours, this season may be totally different. If things don't get sorted at our place pretty soon I can see us 6th or 7th.
But by basing this season on last season you ignore what happens over the summer. Its like picking final standings on these opening two games, stupid and ignorant. Who knows what impact new players will make or a disastrous CL campaign (#nojinx) could have, or this or that. Chelsea went from Champions to outside top4 When it comes to someone being replaced, Spurs look at the most threat to me. Unchanged, overly reliant on one player, lacking depth and could still lose players, best CB pairing split apart by the manager freezing one out. Yourselves look under threat because of the negativity being spread by the manager, personally if he were our manager I'd want rid due to the way he's acting (as a rival I hope he stays ). Stop looking at last season, start looking at this season.
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...iverpool-jurgen-klopp-found-surprise-15047432 Take a bow wijnaldum. I've been told I was wrong here last week but there you go. Klopp praises the guy you can rely onto not give the ball away aimlessly and the guy who can play anywhere from no 6 to no 10. He may not be amazing for some but let's just see who starts v palace. Competition for places in our midfield should be fierce with Milner, windy, Henderson and fabinho fight for 2 places alongside kieta but for me.... I'd rather the guy that keeps the ball than the guy who will lump it when things are tough.
Just a couple serious points here as morning is the only time to have any serious talk. 1. Injuries could play a huge part in deciding the top 4 this year. 2. Spurs have 3 vital things; a proven goal scorer, a creative player and a solid defence. All things being equal they should be right up there. Yes one injury can knock them down. 3. Lfc have a spine finally running from gk through cb to a genuine top cm and the front 3. If we score like I expect us to this season then imo we will be above 80 points not 80. 4. Arsenal, write off emry at your peril. It may take too long to get right but again they have the goal scorer and had to play 2 top4 rivals in gameweek 1 and 2. Thry might fly for next 5. 5. Chelsea. Bloody good team. Have issues with playing a back 4 though.... but have simply awesome midfield. For me that defence eill be an issue bug they will be up there. Top side. 6. Utd. Sorry to deigo who can't take it but there's issues there. Lcb is an eyesore and the central midfield area is in desperate need of a fit matic. It's the creativity issue for me. Bailly at the back, matic, felliani in midfield lukaku up top. All just power players. Mata not trusted .. ever. Fine player. Pogba is given a hard time but he's a top player if bothered like world cup and Sanchez is a proper player too. Its about organisation and dispatching the weak teams in this league and utd gave already lostnone deservedly v the lower half brighton. My view is that city will walk this title again on 95 points or thereabouts. They are simply carrying on from where they left off. Lfc and spurs have best chances of being contenders and one will finish on 80 points plus. Deigo will ressort to cheap shots that this is miles off city no doubt. Chelsea and utd probably have good shot at 75-80 points That means anyone of the 4 behind city just need a bad run or bad luck and thry can fall bav k. 75points absolute minimum target to shot for top 4 imo. Lfc will take 80+ many years that's a title or close to it
Souness made a good comment on Utd after the game something like... You expect Utd to come at you but this Utd team were waiting to see what Brighton did.
Watched the BBC news before MOTD. Virtually nothing on utd men. Plenty on utd slags beating Liverpool ladies in their League Cup. ****ing #bbcsalford
Man Utd only got top 4 last season because of De Gea. And this season he's been crap so far. Maybe knowing his Real dream is finally dead plus the years of carrying Utd as a #onemanteam have caught up with him. Career is finished unless he can get away and that would need a massive pay cut.
man Utd best 11. de gea valencia bailly lindeloff shaw pogba matic fred rashford lukaku sanchez issues; 1. lcb 2. midfield creativity or lack there of. 3. apparently according to deigo they don't have a fast lad to kick it to. lfc alisson taa gomez vvd robertson kieta Henderson windy/milner salah firmino mane issues: 1.rcb 2. consistency. 3. can't decide which player with score less than 30 goal up front (if any) utds problem is they are predictable.its not that they have no good players. They have plenty. but they are all similar. power players. I predict a good home record on thier big pitch where power can help blast teams aside but their game style is predictable
