Both clubs will be looking for three points after below par starts.

Former Town favourites Lawrence and Waghorn may line up together in the forward positions for the Rams.

Town may have a few enforced changes as less than fully fit blues went the distance with ten men vs Villa.

Derby will be favourites and that will suit us if we are underestimated. I fancy 2-1 Town.

    Hard one to call this.

We've a CRACKING record at Pride Park 6 wins from last 10, 3 draws, and 1 defeat.

That said, the only time I've been there to watch the town was a 1-1 draw. Teddy Bishop's first start, what an absolute player he was that day. Best debut of a town player I've ever seen. Ended up sitting by Chambers dad weirdly - who told me at half time when he was injured he was demanding to go to Nando's after the game! Was hilarious on the stand that day.

Mick was unbeaten at both Pride Park + Hillsborough.

Fancy 2-1 Rams though. Be a decent performance by us, just think we could be tired having played a lot of the game with 10 men and Derby have better players than us.

    Hope I'm wrong. COYB.

    I think we'll scrap/scrape out another 1-1 draw.

I don’t have a good feeling about this, although I never do against Derby, regardless of our recent record at Pride Park. In fact, I’m much more confident for Sheffield Wednesday match on Saturday.

A draw is possible, but I’m going for a narrow 2-1 loss. Our team is still requiring integration following the abundance of new (and required) signings. Derby have too much firepower, they spent big this summer (again) and that forward line looks menacing. They scraped a win against Reading, but losing to Leeds and away at Millwall, where they are notoriously hard to beat, isn’t a catostrophe. I do think this might be a division too high for Frank Lampard to begin bis managerial career, it’s a tough league and even when you spend a load of money, you’re not guaranteed success.

Another plucky performance, several new faces, and another draw 1-1.

Perhaps like you Nuggets, I'm more confident about Sheffield Wednesday Saturday. Them seem in a bit of a spot at the moment.

I saw highlights of their 1-1 draw with Hull, extended 15 minute or so ones. Fluid going forwards, could have scored 6 another day. However, absolutely desperate at the back and could have conceded 4 at home to a bang average Hull side.

Big week this, lets get the monkey off our backs.

Unfortunately i don't echo a lot of people's sentiments about tomorrows game. I think we will get tonked, probably 4-1. I think Derby are far superior to us, and with them losing at the weekend, will be on a mission to win tomorrow.

2-0 win. No real logic behind that thought except we seem to be better as true underdogs. Derby will attack, there'll be space for Edwards/Jackson to run into.

I know and work with a few Derby fans living in the midlands and they aren't overly optimistic based on what they've seen this season. If we press high we'll win the ball back easily and create plenty of chances as they are apparently pretty pedestrian at the back... Or so they say. The issue is we don't seem to have anyone in the box desperate to get on the end of anything (or supporting the striker) so not sure how much threat we'll pose

The most common phrase I've heard is 'Two Typical Mid table sides' which is probably about right and reminds me of the heady days of 2010 with Paul Jewell and Nigel Clough in the dugouts playing out some poor meaningless football matches as both sides meandered towards yet another 14th & 15th place finish.

That's how Hurst seems to want us to play and it doesn't work. Just waiting for him to realise. All it really needs is to drop Skuse for Harrison so there is not such a big gap between the number 10 ( that was Sears and is now Nolan but should be Harrison ) and the number 9 role. Then Nolan can be the play maker instead of playing in no man's land. The wingers will stop playing so deep too and push a bit higher that will stop the number 9 to be forced out wide to get the ball and then we'll have 3 or 4 players in the box when we have it wide by the touchline - Nolan, Harrison, Jackson and the opposite winger - instead of 0 or 1. The winger with the ball should have a full back in support or on the overlap and the CDM should be dropping into the back four on the half way line. That's how 4-5-1 should work attacking down the flanks. The number 9 should only be going out wide when we are pressing around the box in possession for a long period. I would much rather we played 4-4-2 but if it is going to be 4-5-1 we need to be pressing much higher when we build an attack. We just can't do that with Cole Skuse and Trevoh Chalobah in the same side.

Yorkie,I was thinking exactly the same thing on Saturday and then we equalised.Edwards seems to be capable of bombing forward and had a great chance to score but went with the wrong foot!Overall though I think we would be better with two up front and it would have been interesting to see if we'd kept 11 on if he'd have put on Jackson alongside Harrison.

Skuse and Chalobah twice getting in each other's way going for the same ball and huge swathes of empty pitch up front. Come on Hursty it's not rocket science !

Town are doing as much as they can. But again, Knudsen cross and only one man (who is not strong in the air) to aim for.

I'm surprised how poor Derby are so far. Lacklustre at best.
