Just watching the Chelsea v Arsenal highlights. Hope we play both soon as both defences are a little iffy atm. Both look decent going forward mind and Arsenal’s finishing must surely improve!
Mourinho in full #meltdown https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45236885 "If you are a rich club you can buy top players, you cannot buy class." #theunitedway
he seems to be put out by a city docudrama. apparently the thing was pep v mourinho or some such and his ego couldn't take it.
He seems massively #bitter about the fact they made preparations in case they won it on the derby "The second reaction is because I am in the movie, I could ask for some royalties. You know, a movie without me doesn't sell much. I needed to be there. But if they send me one of the shirts they had in the tunnel when we played there, the shirts that were saying: 'We did it on derby day.' If they send me one of these shirts, I give up about the royalties."
I'll agree with Cardiff. But think it'll be between Soton, Huddersfield and Brighton for the other 2 places. Don't think B&H or Udders have done enough in the summer.
1 minute and the tone is set for this game. Citeh could have turned up without any defenders today. Huddersfield literally just had 11 players in or on the edge of the box defending.
FFS if it wasn't difficult enough anyway the Town GK decides today is the day he has an absolute mare of a game.
Its going to be a massacre. I know we're not supposed to judge teams like Huddersfield against the likes of Citeh, but tbh Huddersfield are going to get relegated this season. Everybody else around them has strengthened, as have the promoted clubs, bar Cardiff and Brighton. Done well to get to the Prem and then did really well to stay there, but this will be a season too far.
There are some very poor teams in the PL, the ones that I and you have identified look like Championship sides playing in the PL. Others appear to have improved - West Ham (eventually), Leicester, Everton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. These clubs should end up much further away in terms of points than they were last season. Add in Fulham and Wolves, plus the Top 5 and Arsenal, and we are left with the season´s dross. As we have seen in previous seasons with teams like Sunderland, Aston Villa, Stoke, WBA, - if you assemble "Championship" quality players - in Southampton´s case Austin, Long, Stephens, Gallagher, - sooner or later the Chmpionship beckons
