Never thought this was going to be an easy ride as the Millers did what I expected parking the bus in our half. After a messy first-half we scored a early goal after the break courtesy of a headed goal from Ayling with an assist of goal-line technology. Roofe sealed Rotherham's fate with another sublime finish Positives We won even though we weren't at our fluent best. Dominated possession, shots, shots on target, corners & goals of course. Clean sheet. Sublime finish from Roofe. Berardi is maturing in his new CB role. Klich is the best midfielder I've seen at Leeds since our premiership years. Peacock-Farrell's confidence not affected after his error v Derby. Some of our play in the second-half was scintillating. No yellow cards First time goal-line technology has come into play at ER. Negatives Our creative players were not in the game enough to make an impact in the first-half. Could have been 2-0 down after 30 minutes mainly due to our own deficiencies. 8 Peacock-Farrell 8 Berardi 8 Phillips 7 Cooper 8 Ayling 7 Hernandez 7 Saiz 9 Klich MOTM 6 Alioski 7 Douglas 8 Roofe
I could only keep track of game on watch on twitter as at work. Great to read your analysis. Only caught the two minutes sky highlights. Are you around for a beer for the Brum match?
Heres a question though. Why are we not sticking away fans back in the cheesewedge? About 1500 empty away fans seats seems like a lot of potential income thrown away.
Thanks Eire I'm a kop season-ticket holder & usually have a pint in the fanbase (outside bar) or the kop bar as I generally arrive there about an hour before a game. What stand are you in or where will you be drinking?
Another good win, a clean sheet and second in the table. As it turns out though the teams we have played are in the lower middle to bottom half of the league. I know you can only beat the team you are playing but away to Swansea will be a key test for us.
Only flights booked yet and depending on some of the guys organising tickets. Think Chesh has one planned for east stand. Will have a better idea nearer the day about the drinks as ther seems to be a good few of the lads meeting up. Keep an eye on the Brum meet-up thread
They’re in lower half though mainly cos we beat them as only three games gone. Welcome back by the eay
I know and one loss in three games is significant for any team at this stage. I'll be happier after about ten games if we are still beating all before us. I still keep hearing the old saying though about silk purses and pigs ears.
I agree on the ten games. Having said that the next two are stern tests. Three points from the two would give us a fantastic points haul from what was a horrendous fixture list for August
Ok fair point I'll take some happy pills. Stoke, Derby, Rother, Swansea Norwich and Middlesbro, in July I'd would have said 3 loses, two draws and a win so I'll take 3 wins any day of the week
We've beaten the bookies favourites to win promotion, hammered a Derby side away who have been a bogey side over the years and won a derby game, what more do supporters want...
All 6 0 wins. Bielsa already broke one of The Dons records today. First mamnager to win first four games of season ever
So much for Derby and Florist spending millions and many saying they were gonna walk the league Tyson Fury to Deontay Wilder, live on BTsports "i'm gonna knock you the **** out"
