Ehab, as manager, takes us to the Champions League final for the first time in our history. Apologies I couldn't resist.
To be fair I expected a relegation scrap , but today didn't even show signs of a scrap . Just straight to relegation
I'm just about to see half time entertainment. Rervers are on local telly here against Tranna. The beer fridge is stacked. The field looks like Clapham junction or Crewe with all the different coloured lines - for football, rugby league & Canuck "football" pitches. It's mesmorizing - like an 80's disco.
There were a few promising passing sequences but it seems nobody has any confidence in front of goal, fumbling and panicking, getting rid of the ball asap. So frustrating to see us with the ball going forward then to come to a halt because a player doesn't know where to pass so the ball goes back to the keeper who hoofs it up the pitch just to lose possession. Hated to hear the booing when the players went over to North Stand. Walked round the ground to leave via West stand and was confronted with those Magic Moments posters. Bloody hell how far we have fallen. There is someoneon Twitter who said a while ago he thinks the Allams will let us fold or something along those lines. Can the do that?
Sometimes when a thing is so close to breaking it’s just got to break. When it’s broken you can pick up the pieces and move on. The Allams won’t do anything until after the January parachute payment is made and a chance of a slice of the Harry M. transfer cash. Going to be a rough ride.
They are of a certain standard. Are they trying, I dont know because other than the Villa game I haven't seen them to comment. All the same, they must dread coming into work the same way as we all hate Monday mornings..
Surely no one blames the current players for this bleeding mess. The team is not strong enough and is five good players short. That is not their fault.
In 50 odd years following City I've never felt the need to boo a black and amber shirt ....... and I've seen the likes of Christian Sansom, Dave Bamber etc etc etc, as you say - it's a ****s trick.
They’re trying They’re not a group of players that have an edge, they’re not a group of players that are likely to put their foot in. But that’s not their fault...the Club knew that when they bought them
I hope it was only a few idiots booing , didn't hear it myself as we were out of there right on the final whistle Like most others I've seen far worse at City , the difference is we had no money then , we are still getting parachute payments now save your anger for the owners
