Bloody hell, first to post on a Saturday. Unbelievable Jeff. My arrows for today. 2.05 Ripon Red Pike 2.25 Newbury Walton Street 3.15 Ripon Pipers Note 3.35 Newbury Librisa Breeze E/W Lucky 15 & Singles. I’ve swerved the Price Boost on the football with Skybet because the Toffees are in it! Bollox to them lol. Good luck all. Have a great weekend
Surely she is due a winner Gaz, but i wish i would of seen it before placing my bets lol. Good luck mate
Very quiet on here for a Saturday! 2 bets for me today. Ripon 2.05pm - Mr Wagyu 13/2 e.w. Course form reads 2 runs at Ripon. 2 wins..Looks good enough to win this Newmarket 2.45pm Neola 10/1 e.w . This filly has run previously in listed and group races including the Group 2 Queen Mary as a 2 year old. If soft was in the going description would be even more confident but this is more her level. Signs of coming back to form as would have won her last race with a clear run. Good luck all.
Gustav Klimt has been running well enough in better races this season to make 2/1 a more than tempting price for the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury. He'll either disappoint once again, or he'll piss it imo. I'm going with a comfortable victory with the weight-for-age advantage and no Gp1 penalty.
Two for me today. Sir dancelot in the hunger ford. Mosse reckons he’s a group 1 performer and I agree. He’s kept me afloat all summer and I’m not gonna desert him now. The other one I like is algometer.produced a better performance in France and likes a bit of cut in the ground. Cheers.
From the same source who gave me Slipstream last Saturday, I've been given HAMADA in the 2.25 Newbury. They were on at 4/1 but I can only get 9/4 now.
Dal Harraild looks a bit of value today after a blip last time , reckon he'll be good today . Just a interesting angle on the seller at market rasen this evening , dai burchell sends king alfonso all the way from ebbw vale to north lincolnshire, not one to do things for a laugh , reckon he's having a go
Like 2 at Ripon 2.05 Hee Haw, has course form 4lb lower than win here last year. 3.15 Growl, looked to be coming in to form lto. 1 at Newbury 3.00 Rogue, improving 3yo under Moore.
Not worried about the ground for Growl.?Think it might be a bit quick for him myself..seems to be drying out up there..
With the ground officially on the easy side at Newbury, Librisa Breeze has two problems to overcome. Firstly, being nominated by Alex Hammond, something beyond his control; and secondly, the small field probably means that this race is not going to be run at a furious pace like a large field over six furlongs. Sir Dancealot’s last two wins have been over seven furlongs, with Breton Rock behind last time but now 3lb better off for defeat in a three-way photo. Gustav Klimt has failed to win this term and drops to seven here after contesting all the big Group 1 mile races and is another hold-up horse. The only possible front-runner I can see here is Yafta. Do I trust Crowley to set the fractions and steal the race while the rest all sit behind him looking to pounce in the final furlong? The horse is 2/3 for me this year, so I may chance it. Over at HQ it is ‘grey horse’ race day and it is very difficult to get away from the favourite, GOODNIGHT GIRL. She carries just a six pound penalty for a facile victory last time (although that was just a four-runner race) and can complete a hat-trick. The rest of the field bring little good recent form to the party except Champagne Bob, winner of an amateur riders’ race and an apprentices’ race on his last two starts, but both over a furlong further. I am hoping for a favourite’s day at HQ as in the 2:45, BUFFER ZONE has the profile of a horse still learning the game and after defeat on his handicap debut at Windsor last time he has been dropped a pound in the ratings and can atone here. Topweight Staxton looks the biggest threat. The Great St Wilfrid looks impossible at Ripon but I am hoping to hear word for the consolation race favourite... Good luck anyone going to Doncaster. They really should not be putting on cards like this on a Saturday: five of the eight races Class 5.
hi fellas! wish you all a prosperous saturday.here we go: perth,1 25: at first sight, this looks to be between the three last time out scorers, and they are all much respected on form.but all three have taken a hefty hike in the weights for their easy wins,so it may pay to look for some e w value here.although GREEN ZONE didnt shape with immediate promise so far this season,he has tumbled a long way below his last winning mark, and interestingly too, that his winning spree started at this time of year last year, where he scored three times on the bounce.brian hughes also a significant choice..can go well today.. newbury,1 50: a small field, but still very tricky, with no less than 4 last time out winners.BOITRON,though, might have the most scope for progress here, even if his last win has taken a few knocks, regarding form, but his debut win here was more than impressive, and the second horse that day has won again since,so decent shout here..
Lol...looks like you aren't the only on here who fancies Growl though...I prefer Faheys other runner Marie of Lyon. But I looked at the race and also considered Reputation and in the end thought it was too tricky so left that race alone. Good luck with Growl though..
ripon,2 05: plenty of possibilities here,so not easy, but HEE HAW is still on a good mark, and bounced back to form with a nice win last time out.has won off higher marks in the past,so still well treated.dont know about the draw, but if he gets away on terms, surely can be involved..decent e w shout..
newbury,2 25: ALGOMETER is a horse i really like.after some rather low performances,he showed a lot more sparkle in france last time out,and if able to back that up today, shouldnt be too far away here.. perth,2 30: this looks rather weak, and KINGS SONG should be very competitive here.hes shown a bit more last time out,and still fairly treated on his former exploits in this country.good chance..
