So where are the LB and LW we need to compete. Is Sess going to move to LW with Bardo LB and O'shea RB or vice versa. Where's the marque signing we were promised? And where the hell is SNQ? He's been more elusive than Bin Laden today!
well, they may not be specialist but we do have LB Richardson Bardo O`Shea Ferdinand (if he hasnt gone) RB O`Shea Brown Bardo Ferdinand LW Richardson Sess Wickham FW/AM Sess Richardson ST Gyan Bendtner Wickham Ji Maybe Sess Richardson So we do have cover for most areas, but it does feel a little bit underwhelming, but we will see how they do over the next couple of months.
Steve, just confirmed from the BBC site: 0005: DONE DEAL Here's another move that was off earlier, but went through in the end. Possibly because Neil Warnock's move for Sebastien Bassong from Spurs fell through. Anyway, QPR have completed the signing of Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand.
And this made me laugh (and will annoy our neighbours): QPR's former Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton on Twitter: "Nice to see Mike Ashley and Derek Llambias come through with their promise to reinvest Andy Carroll money, £59m net profit from transfers in last 5 seasons... ambition???"
I'm a bit disappointed to see Anton go...He has been playing really well of late in my opinion...Over the moom with Bendtner though..
Never first choice...apart from all three league games so far this season and conceding just 1 goal... Looked good alongside a cool head like Brown. Good luck to him
Gutted about Anton, still for me one of our better defenders - no more incident prone than Bramble or Turner. Does this mean Kilgallon is back in Bruce's plans? Has been playing well for reserves by all accounts. Either way, hope Bendtner gets his head screwed on coz he could be incredible
Forgot about Kilgallon. So have we still got him, Nos and Angie mooching off our wage bill?? Kilgallon is the only one with a glimmer of a slight chance of playing for us again. He looked tidy in the rare games he got for us. Just wonder why he hasn't been bought if he is any good.
When we had the mass influx of new players people were happy about them and thought we had cover for most areas, now added Bendtner, looks ok to me. Sess goes l/w.............problem sorted.
Noseworthy Angeleri and Kilgallon can still be loaned out to the championship as the loan market doesn't shut in the football league for a few more weeks, i expect them all to go
Just listened to an interview with the tennis player Andy Murray who picked out Benctner's move to Sunderland as potentially the best bit of business done on deadline day...Let's hope he's right eh!
No chance mate. Flo was a record signing in 2002 as a deadline buy for £6.75m. Bendtner is a season loan. If he doesn't work out then we can send him back. We still have the cash to splash in January. Shrewd piece of business if you ask me.
