He is subtle in trying to wind people up by modifying direct quotes. Nevertheless intentionally winding people up.

Please don't scrap the board Mick, I'm like F1mclaren927 in that I can't discuss technical matters, not technically minded at all but I still love F1. It will pick up here big time when 606 goes down the pan.

Theres a simple way around that, Mick will have to put a disclaimer somewhere to counteract any legal contention.

Disclaimer or not, when big companies get slandered and writs start flying around, someone normally pays a large legal bill, and that person is less likely to be a jobless runt
It's one thing having a disclaimer, it's another to be seen to police the forum

You could own a bar and ask patrons not to abuse drugs, if however you are not policing the club and are deemed to have let it happen, then you would be looking at costly closure etc

I know of other ventures on the internet that go down the disclaimer route, something like the real BBC would have issues because they engender more than just a forum, it's a whole big corporation. Taking Jose's Santander thread, there are many ways in which any legal action would not stand a chance of succeeding, even without a disclaimer.

For sure, we are not talking about wikileaks here, however costs could accrue on either side

Best thing is to ban Lorca and to take heed when alerted to his latest incarnation by experienced retro wums, if 3 or more agree that a new poster is Jose ban his ass

Then leave if you think that's the case. We just want to talk about F1, but Lorca comes out with ridiculous WUM articles. Your the same person, so we don't loose out much, one less Lorca ID in the world

I hope now you have realised what kind of plank you made into a moderator.

I dont think banning him for one day will make any difference...he will just be back on here with the same objectives which is to wind up others.

Also his siamese-twin Fred should also be banned as he too has the same intentions.

Its numpties like jose, fred and douglas/hamish that ruin these forums...and also puts off many others from joining up.

Close the F1 forum down and then start up a motor-sport forum <ok>
