I've seen him a few times for the reserves, he's a solid centre half. 6ft 2, good passer of the ball. He came in from South Shields and was already playing men's football. We will see more of him this season, in fact I'd take him on a longer term contract.
Norwood won MOTM just before skying it. To be fair, he was very good and I wish we’d signed him. Decent performance, but we’d have been in trouble if they’d have been capable of getting a shot on target. The young lads did well, particularly Curry. Everyone had a decent game, other than Stewart, who was gash.

Great reporting by the Beeb. Unless our name has been changed to Hull Tigers United by UNoWho ! "United were faultless from the spot as Toral, Keane, Kamil Grosicki and Manuel Milinkovic all netted before Stewart's winner". Last sentence in the article https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45092636
I can remember seeing his debut for the U23's and I tweeted this guy has a future, I have always been impressed with him. Just has problems with injury but hopefully, he is over these now and can push on.
Well, that put a smile on my face waking up to see this result and what made me smile the most was: + Beating the Blunts is always a pleasure. + Nigel getting one over on them. + Norwood the twat saying he preferred them to us, then missing the vital penalty. (If this guy had any class he would just say us and then 2 great clubs, but Blunts offer a better deal, instead of saying it in the way he did). + Seeing Curry (always rated him in the U23's) as well as Keane had good games, this pleased me the most as both have had a rough time with injury. Overall sounds like a good performance all-round, especially as it was a very young team for the most part.
Agree about Ollie North - total lack of class, no need to say anything other than the usual new club script. **** him.
The reaction to Norwood's comments are rather over the top, he was asked about his failed move to us, he didn't bring it up and all he said was... "They did try to sign me, They tried quite hard but this is football, it is business. They couldn’t get the deal done and Sheffield United did. To be honest, I would much rather have come to Sheffield United than go there, if I am honest." It was to the Sheffield Star, he was just telling them what he thought they wanted to hear, no biggie.
