This has ****ed me off more than anything else so far. We've been going on and on and on and on about a striker, but we've ****ed around with players who have been awkward for weeks. Finally brought it down to the final day and just failed completely.

Seems like a bid for Ruiz was accepted, but Ashley the fat greedy **** turned him down due to wage/personal requests.

I have a feeling Best scoring those two goals has been a part of this, I really do. In the eyes of the **** owners, it would have taken the priority for a striker down a notch or two.

What an absolute waste of time. We've been screwed over here and the rest of the season is going to be much more difficult than it could have been because we'll be struggling for goals.

Jesus cheer up everyone! We got A striker in Demba Ba...and besides that we've got attacking talent in Cabaye, Obertan and Marveaux. On top of this we've also signed a very highly rated player in Santon! This has been a good transfer window in every way except for a big striker signing, and we have strengthened in every other area, especially midfield!

Regardless they've had the full transfer window to get a striker sorted out. Ever since Carroll left it's been said a striker was our main priority. Literally any striker would have been more acceptable than none whatsoever. Even today, they'd have known the Ruiz transfer wasn't clean sailing and should have had a backup ready. Going to be ****ing solid to score goals now.
