Petrol - no. Its hydrocarbons. If you are going to drink it though use unleaded. Don’t want to die of lead poisoning. Methylated spirits - technically yes but methanol added to dissuade you from drinking it. However methanol has some positive side effects as it breaks down into formaldahyde and formic acid. Latter will kill you, former makes sure you are at least very well preserved.
