i thought HIAG misinterpreted it.

Piskies 2nd screenshot is a bit more conclusive though. Maybe HIAG took it because he thought he was getting an offer he can't refuse (12 months of fossies avatar) and that with the fat clown shakespeare in charge he was onto a winner

 

I am honourable as Spurlock will testify as I lost my bet with him and am currently taking my punishment.
As to our bet I am being honourable in that I am making you aware that you have agreed to a bet that you haven’t read the terms of, which is your mistake - caveat emptor is the legal term

so I assume you will want to wriggle out of our bet again

 

I don't....if your name is Fosse and you're going to make a bet with Hiag and then complain afterwards then you've only got yourself to blame. I think Fosse is an idiot for even entertaining a bet with Hiag considering how the two go at each other.

I could have called this...hey a bet with Piskie and a bet with Fosse goes tits up...surprise surprise.

Nothing to do with taking sides...there arguing about old bets...if no one else saw this coming then that's their problem but I'm not chasing Hiag around just because he's bitten Fosse Again!!

I'm not saying Hiag is right I'm saying I called it a year ago...it's how I live...if I called something but no one took heed, then I've got no sympathy.

 

Fosse and Piskie get what they deserve when they go into bets with Hiag....hence why I won't have any of their bets with each other on the Betz for Bantz threads.

I'm not a mug....you can all crack on thinking it's because of Hiag.

I gave you an example of a bet I scrapped and why...if you haven't read up on the thread you won't get it...once again...not my fault.

 

The one common denominator as to why bets with HIAG go tits up is because HIAG welches on them.

Actually Hiag doesn’t read terms of bets with due care, as he agreed that a bet last year with me and then squirmed out when he realised.

No way would I agree to change my avatar unless LCFC is relegated within 4 years; and if they are, Bambi has to change his avatar for 12 months. If they are not relegated within 4 years, I have to change mine for one month (and only for one month).

If Bambi agrees to that, we have a valid wager. If he does not, we do not have a valid wager.

I do not agree to any other wager, and this is the last offer for wager that I will ever make with a ‘Pede initiate.

Like i said, you misunderstood it, even after quoting it back verbatim.
That's fair enough, but dont try to act like he was the one who changed the terms of the bet....they are there in black and white, you just misinterpreted them.

I have never claimed that Bambi changed the bet. I have always claimed that I misunderstood the terms that Bambi offered.

The bet that I accepted was the one summarised by Pixie, and it is there for everyone to read.

Bambi has never accepted that bet.

So, there is no accord between us, and without that there can be no bet. I am no more a Welch than is Bambi.

I knew the potential was there for something to crop up in order to make it into a song and dance for the simple reason that it was you two involved and Fosse and Hiag involved.
