As always it’s a bit of both. WH were poor and let us play but st the same time we played well and cut through them at will to be fair hE came on at like 3-0 down so not really a good chance to show. Anderson looked the one summer signing for them that might turn out to be a great buy
Not convinced. Chelsea will be stronger with a manager that the players haven’t fallen out with yet. Spurs who knows... United they’ll find a way to win games under mourinho to get top 4. Arsenal def look weakest and their signings don’t look to have improved them massively unless they’ve unearthed some gems to slot into the prem.
Top 4. City as champions will most likely win it again. Lfc with wonder squad will try to challenge. Then the other 4 **** clubs will try to fight off evertons challenge.
To be fair, city where not exactly fantastic, any team with a bit of energy would have over ran them today. They look like they could really struggle this year if there is not a vast improvement.
Citeh looked like us in the first half of last season, dangerous as **** going forward but shabby in defence. Arsenal should have scored in that second half, especially late on. Citeh were shambolic at the back at times.
Their midfield was bypassed quite a bit but they looked muddled at the back. Mendy was poor. I'm hoping they face a more tenacious team next, see how they fair
I agree on Mendy, I was expecting more from him after his start last season. He looked a beast against us in the 'Mane game'
They did look poor defensively but both Ottamendi and Kompany would start normally I think. They've got Hudders next week.
piss easy. the thing is they already have one of the top 6 mini league games gone now with a handy win. there are only 10 of them for city and they will decide the league imo. of city get as many points in this as last year then it's all over. lfc did well the year before but threw it all away v bottom half. we need to be more consistent.
