I thought the law change was to whether or not there was a 'genuine attempt to win the ball' rather than inside/outside the box. Though most people said it would just end up going that way anyway.
Nope, out the box it’s a red as there no triple punishment (10 men, goal scoring chance & suspension).
Potentially, there could be if they score the free-kick but obviously much more difficult than a penalty.
Looks promising for your lot tbh. Let’s see how we all look after 6-10 games but signs are good for you
Do you think Salahball (kick it to the fast lad) will work again this season or will Klopp have to come up with some tactics?
I not sure What options we got Tiki takka Park the bus Fast break Kick and rush Mix of the above That pretty much covers them all I think so - prob stick with Salahball but add a few other of the fast lads and spread it a bit That said we will lose or draw tomorrow just to give everyone else a chance
Diego's "kick it to the fast lad" bullshit shows he doesn't really watch or understand the mechanics of our system, Klopp's multi faceted system involves and includes long and short passes, includes giving fast footed players the opportunity to show their dribbling skills etc. Will Man U revert back to "hoofball" now that Fellaini is on a contract extension? Mourinho's plan B is an insult to the traditional "United way" of kicking it to the fast lads.
Just watch your players when they get the ball mate, from keeper right through to mids it's "where's Mo"
Funny that, I see it as Robertson/Moreno on the wing/overlaping with teammates playing balls in, Firmino/Mane receiving the ball and taking on defenders and playing slide rule balls in or skillfully chipping/curling/volleying shots at goal...oh and Mo doing his thing also.
