No it isn’t. The goal scoring opportunity sending off only applies now if it’s deemed to be a professional foul. Pawson patently doesn’t know the ****ing rules.
No, if it’s outside the box and denying goal scoring chance it’s a red card, no matter what kind of foul it is. Its only inside the box where it has to be a professional foul and stop goal scoring chance for it to be a red. A clear attempt to play the ball inside the box is only a yellow. Its to to stop the double punishment of a red and a pen for a genuine attempt to tackle. That doesn’t apply outside the box
An uncontrolled studs up lunge onto the opponent's ankle is a red whether you're last man or not #readtherules
He did win the ball, he caught the forward on the follow through, a yellow for me, but never denying a clear goalscoring opportunity as he didn’t even have the ****ing ball. Laughable from the awful (as per) Pawson. Still, I’d have taken a draw there today anyway, so playing half the game 10 vs 12 is a decent result
Youre an arrogant dick sometimes Tobes, incapable of ever adnitting your wrong or being able to have a normal discussion.

someone can’t read. That’s talking about penalties and red cards not given. Which is what I said... were talking about fouls outside the area and as per my link which clearly explains it.
no it doesn't you're thinking of the "double jeopardy" easement inside penalty area Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off.
"When a denial of a goalscoring opportunity offence is committed by a defender in the penalty area, the penalty kick effectively restores the goalscoring opportunity so the punishment for the player should be less strong (e.g. a yellow card) than when the offence is committed outside the penalty area.
