I think what I cant get my head around is, that after 7 years in the richest league in the world, then we get relegated and receive parachute payments, yet we are it appears the club with the least amount to spend compared to all the others, I know we had to trim wages, but I don't get how we can be so skint. still it is what it is and I hate it. I hope the board are proud of how the have taken a great club and made it a laughing stock. the sooner they are gone the better, I just hope there is a salvageable club there when they have gone.

I would love to have a nice face to face chat with all 3 of them.

I'm afraid to say that customers with " emotional involvement " count for little when it comes to businesses, especially of the football variety. Being emotionally involved just doesn't earn you anything, other than sleepless nights when your team doesn't perform to your expectations.

Correct. I totally understand that, but we are not talking about the effectiveness of the Trust. This is more of a communication issue.

The Trust have already come out with a statement today because most fans are shocked at what has happened at the Club this week. It wouldn't go amiss for the Club to give their version of events. That is not a lot to ask for given that the Board has reduced the Swans from a proud Premiership Club to the laughing stock of the Football League via one of the greatest football firesales ever!

I sense all the frustrations that have been plastered all over this site for days now, but if the owners don't want to engage in meaningful dialogue then there's not much to be done. Boycotting of matches might make them take some notice, but I doubt that will happen.
The team WILL bounce back, but it won't happen overnight.

We are quite capable of winning the game tomorrow and we'd be top of the table! <laugh>

It's not just the posters that are frustrated, even Potter was furious yesterday as his main target slipped through the net for a relatively small amount of money considering we banked £44 million quid in the window.

People say the Board don't know what they are doing. They know exactly what they are doing, they are hard nosed businessmen who frankly don't give two tosses about the Swans and that is now becoming blatantly obvious to everyone.

You are right, they probably don't have to engage with the fans, but I don't dare imagine where that would take us as a Club.

I thought Potter was sick. When did he express his fury, because I didn't read/hear about that ?

If the Club are really intent on buying the Brentford player, they can take him on loan, and agree a fee for his transfer in January. That shouldn't be a problem - if they are really interested.

Thing is, a lot of people are indirectly employed because of Swansea city football club. And if the club does poorly then it effects people’s livelihoods. Swansea City's first season in the Premier League has generated £58m for the Welsh economy, a study claims.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-west-wales-20895147

If your livelihood was going to be affected, wouldn’t you want to have some transparency?

The Club is sitting on £20 Million of assets from sales from the 2017 accounts, but there have been some serious losses in transfers also, Clucass has cost us in excess of £10 Million, then there is Baston at £15 Million purchase total write off, Messa sold at a loss of £4 Million, A Ayew returning at £18 Million out on loan, Jordan Ayew if he gets a good season out on loan we might see us get our money back with an £8 Million sale, but you can see that Huw has ruined the club with such bad transfers so many Millions to write off................<ok>

The official line was that he was sick, which may have been the case, but that doesn't prevent him from being furious. That info came from people within the Club.

If the Club are really interested in buying Woods they could have bought him yesterday instead of getting on their high horses over a relatively small amount of money. It would have shown a bit of support to Potter who had made Woods his number one target and extended the feel good factor after the Sheffield United match. When the decision makers are sitting in plush offices on the other side of the pond they probably don't get it!

A Ayew will cost us in write offs for sure, why Huw brought him back is beyond me, Jordan will brake even though I feel, but Clucass, Baston, and Messa, have all been mitigating disasters...............<ok>

I'm not the person you need to ask. I just post an opposite view to that posted by most others. That aids discussion. There's no worthwhile forum if everyone repeats the same mantra.

It's sad that people's livelihoods are being affected by the Swans' plight, but they are where they are, and nothing is guaranteed for anyone.

Plus the loan fees for Sanchez and Abraham. Not to mention pay offs to sacked Managers. The disaster knows no bounds.
