It may well be that Enob is banking on any money coming in from the sale of Grositski to fund any incoming ... so he doesn't have to dig into the profits he is already creaming from the club .. there again he may well be licking his lips at the thought of extra pennies in his pocket. What is for certain that he has no interest whatsoever in improving Adkins chances of being able to keep the team in this division let alone pushing for a potential promotion. Sad that even the most stupid person realises the more successful a club is the more attractive it becomes to potential buyers.
Totally agree looking at it it in isolation.....but 40 quid for a father/mother and child is very fair. I am completely against no concessions......but the argument that a father can't afford to take their child is also completely wrong !!
As long as they've only got one child and are happy to sit in the family stand. We're losing a whole generation of support over this and you're on here claiming 'fake news'. Some ****ing people.
Wigan and Derby have both shown 'ambition'...Sadly the word does not appear in Rehabs limited vocabulary.
Thank you for the wise words from people more experienced than myself. I think it was a combination of baby anxiety and recurring depression, it's nice to have people to offer advice and talk to. I actually fell asleep at 3am and got up around 10. I feel like I could knock out Ronnie Pickering. Although I'll probably crash around 10pm. Bacon Sarnie and a run. Need new golf shoes. Ah. Thanks again.
Holy Jesus. Why do the owners worry about the price of concessions. They have got 10,000 empty seats because of the way they have fannied around. If they charged £1 for each seat for a child they would have £10,000 more each week and a full stadium to cheer on the team. If they filled the seats with OAPS at a £5 then £50,000 and a full stadium. Who’s the loser here. The team because of the lack of a full stadium and the owners who haven’t the imagination or willingness to think outside the small box labelled ego.
Good luck with keeping on a relatively even keel, but as someone said earlier...don't try and suck it up and have a stiff upper lip. There's plenty of really good help available and don't be afraid to get any you need. Ultimately you pay for it anyway so you may as well use it when you need to.
Oh dear....here goes anyway 1. Best not to slag people off that haven't got a Maths O level...and then get your maths wrong at the same time! £42 a month for two people for 23 games in 12 months isn't £20.91 a game for them both...its £21.91 2. No one is criticising the adult prices, in fact most people, certainly the ones that have good values and a conscience, would prefer that they were increased to enable concessions to be introduced. 3. Using an example of a 1 adult 1 child situation as your example of the 'real' news shows a spectacular level of selfishness, as it would be if I said that the 'real' news was that current membership prices were great because I happen to be one adult paying alone and have had my price reduced. The whole point of a good concession system is that it caters for all sizes of family groups, from kids to OAPs, and sets a reasonable level for people regardless of how many people an individual happens to have in their family.
It also brings in the next generation of supporters. As I said previously the team I run was dominated by kids proudly wearing City kits (over half). Now out of 26 there’s probably 2 - if we’re lucky. They won’t get that support back any time soon.
precisely (I was only pulling apart specifics from the post...otherwise I'd have been typing all day!)
Look after yourself mate. It's already being said but plenty of support out there you don't need to do it alone.
