Really looking like that now. What attracted McClaren? Is it just the money?

I have commented on how mystified I am that so many of our fans just don’t get it several times. Ostrich behaviour.

Options are - do what we are doing, batten down the hatches to survive, hope that at some stage some mysterious synergy will happen between coach and average players that makes the team greater than the sum of its parts; or do a Wolves/Florists, gamble all and risk complete annihilation if it fails. To the best of my recollection we tried option two and escaped utter destruction by the skin of our teeth.

On the puny revenue of the club there is no other way. Staying in the Chumpionshit is an achievement in itself in these circumstances.

That’s the bit I don’t get, either they fibbed to him or like most football managers, his ego is so enormous that he thinks the sow’s ear to silk purse transformation with no resources is well within his capabilities.

    10 games.

It's ok lads (and Beth) I've just harnessed the power of google to search for Free Agents

    We are saved...

Snap him up now. I vividly recall his 6xbarrel roll at Old T*****d

    Class and unsurprisingly, unattached

I liked him, I'd have him back along with Taiwo, never a dull moment, maybe not the lad who totally lost the plot though

They are the extreme options, but Clubs like Huddersfield, Preston, Brentford, Brighton have shown it is possible to do well bringing in some less well known but useful players from around Europe without spending a fortune, and developing decent teams with them and what they had and develop themselves. I hope we are aspiring to that but the outgoings and 1 incoming so far this summer don't look too good right now. Hopefully we'll be surprised by some incomings later on today, but I'm not holding my breath. We desparately need to strengthen at the back imo, or we'll be in a relegation struggle again.

Hope that's not the case. I'm assuming that players who have been told by their current club that they have'no future there' are probably wanting to look for permanent deals rather than loans. We will probably have to wait until next week for the loans market to see who is available.

If he thinks that he is deluded. We have a weaker squad that we finished last season with. Even with the younger players being another year older, mid table will be an achievement.

Or perhaps he liked what he saw when he was here before and it fits with where he is at the moment

Ok here’s a scenario, Bash TF, Bash TF, BashTF, bash club, Bash TF, .....................
TF has enough of being bashed on Twitter, instagump and on here, TF walks away demands his equity, loans etc,etc back, Bhatia and Mittal and remaining Malaysian backers walk as well, club goes into administration no one wants to buy The poisoned chalice the club folds and in a few short months Loftus Road is a housing estate and the reformed QPR are playing in division 8 of the Ealing and district Sunday morning pub league and I can guarantee there would still be some on here moaning that we haven’t bought any players and not even fat Stan from the coach and horses would join us cause we only offered him an extra portion of French fries but no deep fried mars bar cause even after all that happened were still f*****g skint and got no money.
You can please some of us all the time, all of us some of the time and some on here you couldn’t please if we f*****g signed Messi, Neymar and god forbid had Conte as our manager.
    Rant over !!!!

    BORO INCREASE FREEMAN BID

Middlesbrough have launched a new increased bid for QPRmidfielder Luke Freeman, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News reported earlier that Blackburn had seen a £4m offer for the 26-year-old rejected.

If an offer of £8-10m was made for Freeman and SM and the club had some loan targets (eg 1 striker and 2 CD) and their combined loan fees ands wages were £6m are we saying selling Freeman is bad business?

Well, if we do keep hold of him he better have a ****ing sensational season and avoid all injuries. And be worth £30m by the end of it.

Nice to actually have a bidding war for one of our players for a change. Can't remember the last time that happened!

Just a thought, but if I was in charge, I'd be seeking to structure the Freeman deal as a loan until January, with a guaranteed sale price of £Xm on the 1st January. That way we will be able to count Freeman as an outgoing player in January (which helps as part of the 1 out 1 in rule) and sign a player on 75% of his wages, which I presume are some of the higher wages at the club now.

TF said we won't be selling Freeman so we won't. However he is preparing another new stadium tweet... make of that what you will. :emoticon-0100-smile

Anyone on here got millions to chuck at an unfashionable, unprofitable football club with eye-watering debt? Thought not.

No but like many others I have spent a lot of my money over the years on season tickets, merchandise, travel etc to watch my club only for some 2222ing idiot to put us in a precarious position. I have also never seen my club have a transfer embargo because some muppet keeps messing up my club.
I may not have millions but I am more QPR than Bungle ever will be.

The club doesn't have any debt.
