Stoke have just ended their interest along with QPR. According to SSN he's left White Hart Lane and a helicopter was seen taking off a few minutes later. We were 1-3 wth Sky Sports betting earlier and It doesn't look like anybody else is in for him.

I'm up at the airport today in the office so will keep my eyes posted when I can. There have been 2 or 3 helicopters and 1 or 2 private jets in today (thats par for the course mind) but cant say I've seen diddly.

Really dont know what the problem is for Crouch and 10m. He is a current England International of some standing (actually the best goals per game England striker around at the minute) and is only 30/31. He is i n the peak of his career and has a min of 2 or 3 years at the very top. So what if the sell on value is rubbish, what he could bring to the likes of Wickham and Won over the coming months and the contribution to the team would be invaluable.

Top player and a top signing and so much of a relief (if it happens) than the likes of Macheda etc.

PS - Zamora is a cracking player as well BTW and if the craas get him they will have a very decent signing. Zamora one of those players that has grown in stature with age too.

Crouch knows if he comes here his international career is over, so it will be a big if for him coming to us

Please nooooooooo, this will be a disaster, unless it's a loan or much smaller fee, I am hoping it's a 4/5m fee then it's not bad business, remember he has turned us down twice before, his heart is not in it.

Spot on Cest, I would be over the moon with Crouchy. Imagine Larsson's deliveries with Crouchy at the back post nodding them back for Asa's overhead kicks!!

A disaster? In what way exactly. The lad is a quality player and by all accounts a quality lad as well (so long as he's not near a brothel that is Lol).

Disasters are signings like Macheda and N'Gog.

Crouch is a totally proven EPL & international quality footballer and would e a massive influence for the 2 young lads, as Quinny was to SKP.

I would take Crouch as a player but for the prices mentioned not a chance! £10-12mil is way over priced and his wages will be big as well. If Quinn can negotiate a better financial deal then we would be a getting a good player. Unique player too.

Disaster finacially, if he signs a long contract (which he will), we will not be able to get rid of him and will have no Money available for some decent young signings in the future. Crouch has been out of form in London why does anyone think he will do well up here when he will only be here for the money.

We should have made a big bid for Welbeck or Sturidge IMO

Totallly agree and I think he could easily have the impact that SNQ had. I can't believe people will be moaning if we sign him. Keep an eye out for that helicopter; it's the one that's higher than it is wide.

You sound like Arsene Wenger after the younger generation, Crouchy would have an immediate impact in the side and will work well with Gyan. It also will give us a completely different strategy whilst he plays.

Have you been watching our games? Decent, young lads are what we have in Whickham and Ji but we need proven strikers and that is Crouchy, I hope we get him and he proves you very wrong my friend
