My question???? Shawsood had me convinced I was wrong... Who owns wet Nellie? Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Correct Steelmonkey. We Nellie is the submarine car from The Bond film Spy who loved me. The car was put in storage for 10 years and was bought unseen as a job lot for $100. It was eventually put into a specified "Bond Auction" where Musk bought it for £0.5 million and plans to make it into a submarine car.
As an aside Elon Musk, who is something of a twat but quite amusing, has just pulled a brilliant trick on some ‘investors’ in his company who were essentially gambling on him failing and selling short. He has claimed to have raised $70bn to buy back the company and take it off the stock market. Shares rose 11% and the short sellers were stuffed.
Cheers Kiwi. What was born on 22nd November 1928 and disappeared on 22nd November 1970, but then lived on for another 33 years on the Isle of Man ?
