Any details on why this travesty came about? Any lessons learned by the supermods, or will they continue to swing cutlass first, ask questions later?

My final comment is that I'm hugely disappointed in your response, given the responsibility you have a a supermod.

Should anyone ever sue for a 'mistake' that could have been avoided, your attitude, now in print, will strengthen their case. Let's just hope you don't make any other mistakes.

 

All I can say if you could have seen what/how all these accounts appeared connected you would have your mind blown. Some real Matrix stuff going on. Brb reviewed the decision and had the balls to appologise and instantly reinstate Eric which we are all pleased with.

Hopefully the board will calm down after a frantic few days and we can continue enjoying the footie

 

Let's be absolutely clear here...

No amount of protesting Eric's innocence was going to make the slightest difference.

Judge, jury and executioner...case closed.

Only eric's own personal intervention and brb believing him resulted in a reversal of the decision.

Those are the facts.

I haven't met eric.

Obviously cannot speak for others.

 

It was also brb that banned him straight away, a supermods decision above us and if you were privvy to the information then you probably would have made the same mistake. Hes rectified it straight away and openly apologised for said mistake.

Our jobs are bloody hard, being a supermod must be even harder and the odd clanger will be dropped. Its rectified, the apology has been made hopefully we move on.

Also it stemmed from another board- the mis information that led to Erics banning so in fact had little to do with us Leeds mods.

 

Being he is in Australia I doubt anyone has met him so people protesting his innocence was based on?

 

Whatever evidence there appeared to be, clearly it was misinterpreted badly and badly handled. Was Eric consulted throughout this processs and asked for his opinions and explanations. I certainly hope so. A great deal has been made lately of attracting new posters and Elland puts trojan work into that. I doubt many would be impressed with this fiasco and wouldnt be surprised if weve lost a good one or two as a result. I also dont get that this all seems to relate to information provided from another forum and by persons not even associated with this one. Theres clearly a lot of messing going on in the background that we know nothing about and I for one, am surprised and pissed off about to be honest

 

His account was frozen, we said investigations into Erics account was ongoing. This needs to have a line drawn under it now we are going around in circles
