Watched a decent stream yesterday and i thought stoke were crap.they were too easy and we should have been five up at half time.
Saiz did show petulence and was moaning to the ref all game and yes he did launch the ball at a stoke player.
Beradi is a yellow waiting to happen we need pontus back asap.he is good to have in reserve though and would improve the bench.cant say i am impressed with our goalie he does not look athletic enough and is a bit slow getting down.i like roofe a lot but he should have scored .klich missed an easy one too.the thing is who have we got to play midfield who can settle things down .phillips lunged in again two footed and is another yellow or red in waiting.
We need to be smarter and take control of games.
I was very pleased with the winning start and was a good game for the fans to watch.i doubt bielsibub was happy with the whole game.like he said we need more players.cooper is still cooper and for me is not good enough.
I think the fans deserve better and crowds of that size provide funds to do it.we are not skint rads just needs longer arms.i await to see what happens this week.

hey wakey, looks like glory has hacked your account

Exactly. There were times last year under TC that these same players looked sublime.

Whatever the reason he lost them, I think it was losing Ayling and Saiz, and Oh Heck was not the man to fix it

Tommy lost the dressing room when he threw Felix under the bus after one bad performance, brought in Lonners who was worse, and was left with two keepers devoid of confidence ... this put fear in the players that they would suffer the same fate if they made errors, and in fact it happened to Klich ... suddenly nobody wanted the ball, players were hiding, and there was no coming back from that ... Hecky was simply not respected, after all Leeds had dismantled his relegation bound Barnsley on their own patch and the players must have wondered why Heck had even been given the job

Good Morning Everyone

Leeds delivered a master class lesson to new boys Stoke yesterday afternoon at Elland Road.

Surely, we are talking about Leeds' best performance in over a decade?

Not even the commentators could think of a bad word to say about us!

Did you see Heckingbottom's face after the game? He looked shellshocked as the realisation that 10 of his former players had just dominated the title favourites.

I bet Paul Madeley was loking down from the best seat in the house proud as punch having been thoroughly entertained for 90 minutes - that performance was for you. MOT!

Regarding the Derby County game next Saturday, do Leeds keep the same starting XI?

Leeds look set to add Lucas Nmecha to their squad in the next 48 hours.

The Citeh forward has represented England from Under 16 level all the way to the Under 21’s.

The 19-year old is known for his blistering pace and versatility, being able to not only play as a striker but also occupy either wing.

As reported by the Guardian over the weekend, Bielsa worked out, it took an average Leeds fans three hours to earn enough money to watch the team play.

He then made his squad pick up litter from around the training ground for three hours to teach the players a lesson in appreciating the hard work their fans put in just to be able to support them on a Saturday.

Absolute class.

If someone offered you a guaranteed play off spot now, would you take it?

Regarding the playoff spot, my answer would be no. Based on our performance against Stoke, we can win this league, at worst finish second.

We're going for the big one, no point in setting the bar lower.

We're reaching for stars, not the clouds below'em.......:emoticon-0148-yes:

I tend to agree. No idea if we can achieve those dizzy heights but there are no exceptional teams in this division this season. Forget the nonsense of making the relegated teams favourites. Like Sunderland they have all been crap for a few seasons and they don’t suddenly become world beaters. Great chance to grasp the nettle as it were

If we play the same as we did on Sunday then I’ll believe anything is possible. I’m ignoring the 3-1 scoreline, just the style, the space we found, just the general team performance. It looked too good to be a one off but we’ll see.

At least we know they ‘can’ do it.
