Flukey win, from what I saw on tele and from those there it was our best performance for a decade.

 

paddy power still have us at 14/1 to go down. just did a bet on the tennis to qualify and stuck the free £30 on it.

 

Would be criminal if you went down with an owner bankrolling you to the tune of £1M per month - some teams in your league would love that kind of budget

 

it's only a £1m a month because of his mismanagement so he should stump up. the difference in revenue for the champ vs L1 is about £6m a year, add on gate receipts and merch, then take away all the redundancy packages he's had to fork out for and he'd be holding even. not to mention the overpayment of meire, keohone and whatever the perks lot and murray take.

if only we were back in 9th in the champ with some useful players and a good permanent manager..

i hope we fold so he has loses money and his kids suffer as a result of his stupidity. happy to start over without him, in whatever league it is you get demoted to.

 

I have stopped caring now. There is only so many times you can be knocked down and keep bouncing back. When you think things can't get worse they do. I still think we are nowhere near hitting rock bottom yet. I won't be watching us at all this season. Welling played well on Saturday and at least I get a decent burger, chips and a drink for not very much.
I really hate feeling like this and I would love it if we got some new owners somewhere down the line. But it looks like that is a long way off.
