We're going down. Bolton manage to go away to the hawthorns and bring 3 points back with them, Wigan do the business against massive club, Millwall take an unfortunate point against the champions elect. Now we all know what's going to happen on Monday night. The pressure has been cranked already, **** you Eham.
From what I saw on the telly. Ipswich look like relegation fodder. QPR ditto. Rotherham will get spanked most weeks.. Bolton flash in the pan...If we come 4th from bottom it will be like winning the league..
Yesterday’s results were interesting. Boro left it late and grabbed a point in Bermondsey ,Swansea did the Blunts away and one of the bookies favourites came unstuck at home against a side who narrowly stayed up with the last kick of the game in Bolton..,welcome to the Championship . Wigan carried on were they left off beating massive Wendy but the one interesting result for me was Brentford’s demolition of Rotherham, keep your eye on events at Griffin Park this season. Stoke go to bellend road today as favourites to win this division etc etc..but to be honest I don’t usually take notice of the league table until around 8 - 10 games in so early days. Hope I’m wrong here but given the number of teams this season all beating their chests the Championship could well be the one place you DONT want to be with a paper thin squad...gulp. Yep..Footballs back.
8-10 games really isn't enough, there's always some start like a house on fire that inevitably tail off. 15-20 games at least before you can get a real feel for the consistently good sides who have a good chance of being up there at the end.
Always the surprise team yes agreed, but generally speaking 10 games into a season usually shows who won’t be going down and who are starting to score enough goals to make a challenge.
I think we have a chance of being there at the end.... which end is the question... the middle end would do for me..
Sat at home watching it on Sky and helping his mum get tea ready and wondering where it all went wrong.
