Clarke ought to respect his manager especially when the man had more talent in his anal hairs than Clarke will ever have, maybe he tried it on with Colin and that is why he was never given a chance

Haha. Just to clarify the analogy I was making was highlighting that they've probably given a good wage to a player they were expecting to be far better than he is in reality. Blamed too much fitness work for a poor performance- doesn't surprise me really, the fat, lazy, Baby Harvey lookalike ****er.

Although it seems Swindon expected him to train hard and run up and down during the game too. Completely unreasonable if you ask me.

Saw him down at Buckland Athletic pre season. Was in a foul mood/bad attitude there after five/ten minutes after a couple of passes didn't go his way (and probably because not selected to go to Italy with the first team). Seemed to effect the rest of the team as well, there was a bit of an atmosphere on the pitch!

Agree with the above, couldn't hit a barn door if he was holding the handle, glad to be rid of!

In the video Clarke says 'he told me I have to run again tomorrow, wim not doing that' (he being the fitness coach)

The strop Clarke was chucking, can't fault the fascist on this occasion.

Imagine that though, a professional footballer who don't wanna run. S'pose he don't like spending the money he's 'made' either. Probably plays his best football with a joypad!

    What was di Canio thinking?

No, not last night and not even in chasing Clarke for months. Desperation rarely includes homework.

How the **** does a talented and highly paid icon-type end up 'managing' a backwoods fourth tier English club, chivvying lazy, talentless no-marks like Clarke??

Don't you think the whole thing's got the musty hum of pathos about it?

    Drab story.

"How the **** does a talented and highly paid icon-type end up 'managing' a backwoods fourth tier English club..."

It's because he's declared openly on more than one occasion that he's a Fascist. Those who hide their fascist sympathies and their family's fascist history like a certain very well known manager from Portugal get to manage the richest teams in the world.

I ****ing hate fascists and JM is an ever bigger bastard that PDC.

Thanks Imaz, I feel you rage mate but di Canio's Roman fetish and Mourinho's alleged dark secret doesn't tell me how di Canio ended up 'managing' a backwoods fourth tier English club...

If speculating about spooky political thinking within the global football community is your bag, you must have your work cut out. Not many bright footballers about are there... ?

Not the best career move I suggest. Would you take a player on loan who didn't want to run.

He's not on loan. We spent a fortune to pay him off because he wouldn't play for what Swindon are paying him without a big golden handshake from QPR.

Watford. I know we released him but the link says Swindon will look to loan him out, hence my comment.
