Had to work this morning, saw the replay on ESPN+ when I got home. Got a kick out of 30,000 calling out "GOOOCH" everytime he carried the ball past a defender.
Because our home kit is red and white with black shorts and we happened to be at home. Red shorts are for an away trip where the black may clash
It used to be after midnight on the day of the game and I usually watched it Sunday mornings but it's not there today, strange.
Well in lads. Didn't get to see it but was following the result. Sounded pretty bad at half time (not just the scoreline but the fact they were making opportunities) and there's a few ifs and buts (not least the strength of team Charlton were able to put out) but all that matters are that it was 3 points and a great atmosphere. A massive step towards actually making SoL a good ground for the team to play at this year and therein pushing for the top spots.
Very happy with yesterday. The only downside I could see from watching it twice was Osturk. He is slow a **** marker crap as positioning himself. Why o why don't we play Embelton he is 10 times better and will improve more with games. Osturk is 5 times worse than OShit.
Once Baldwin is fit Ozturk shouldnt get anywhere near the pitch! My question is how the hell someone thought he was good enough to sign.
Bit harsh to write him off after one game. But as you say, Baldwin and Flanagan to chose from as well so we'll see
Maybe it is harsh and unfair. It wasn't just his slowness that shocked though. His longest pass must have been about 5 or 6 yards at most. Fair enough though, it was the first game of the season.
It's not one game though, Dan. He has been terrible throughout pre-season and our fans had already picked up on how slow and poor he is. He just confirmed that to the masses yesterday.
correction Ozturk thinks he is a center half, but we know different, bet you could put in a better performance.when they were attacking he didn't pick up a man, and gave them yards of space, he couldn't read a shopping list never mind the game, Hope all is well and the cops have left you alone
Anyone watched Gooch's winner back yet? After he missed the ball he started presenting himself for the ball to be given back into his feet but stopped himself and read the game and instructed the ball over the top. Very very clever reading of the game. It's a very very good goal.
