I’m just gonna turn up with last seasons as nothing new's been sent. If all fails Den, we could wonder to a nearby hostelry

Ok -just humour me here. You've ordered your Match Day card. It's arrived and you've loaded your first match day ticket onto it. Am I the only one who wouldn't have a clue what seat I'd reserved without printing off my confirmation and taking it with me? Also will the card be clever enough to only let you through the turnstile for the Zone you had paid for - again if you could actually remember where that was.
I think I'm right in saying that you are expected to bring a copy of your confirmation with you. Paper or electronic (email). Pretty sure that was the instruction. This could be fun couldn't it!!
On the other hand how will the stewards know if you're in the right seat, will they have a card reader?
Basically, though everything's confirmed by email, so unless you normally go to City without your phone, you wouldn't bother printing and taking pieces of paper.
At the risk of failing to humour you, it seems unlikely that anyone would go through the rigamarole of buying a match ticket then fail to remember which seat they bought. That’s a key part of the process, surely?
So when you buy a ticket for the panto or a concert you remember your seat number? I always need to look at the ticket before entering.
Just note the seat number in your phone, or on the back of your hand...or only buy seats where the letters & numbers match your birthday?! To be honest the way they administer things so efficiently I’d take a copy of the confirmation email, your passport, a copy of your bank statement showing the payment going out, proof of address, your birth certificate and / or a letter from your Mum confirming your old enough to go on your own!!!
"Can I see your confirmation email?" "Sure, let me just get on the KCOM wifi..." "And the whistle blows for full time" (30 minutes later) "Ah, here we go. E5, row G seat 23."
