    I know optimism is dangerous but I reckon 1. don't know who though as the usual deadline day list of possible targets grows longer every hour, but I reckon we'll pull off a cheeky deal somewhere...

    if all else fails, I scored a cracking brace last night so can come in for a tenner and a years supply of pukka pies!

    I recon the club have been bidding less than the other clubs value their players so they won't accept, then we'll loan somone at the last minute and Pardew will tell us that they tried and tried with great offeres but could not sign anyone despite their best efforts and the loan deal was only a last resort!
