The other Horse I was given is back out tomorrow! Molly Mai 6.35 at Wolverhampton! Not much of a price, backed from 11/4 to 2/1
Have been doing well with these last 3 days, hope it continues. Winners at 11/1 and 14/1, placers at 12/1 (twice) from 13 selections, which also included On A May Day 11/1, delivering a strong challenge to the eventual winner of the 7.30 Epsom yesterday when it sadly broke down. 1 point E/W on these, also E/W Trixie at 1/20th singles unit stakes. G'wd 3.0 O.Choice 16/1 3rd 12/1 " 4.10 I Am A Dreamer 20/1 G'way 7.55 R.Sun 11/1
I cannot say that I fancy Eminent in the Goodwood opener; and at the odds I will be leaving Mirage Dancer alone although I expect him to win after failing to hold off Best Solution in a Group 2 last time. The second race presents something of a conundrum. Regal Reality was well beaten by Without Parole and has not run since, Threeandfourpence won an egg-and-spoon race after being thrashed by Without Parole and the best horse on the ratings, the filly Threading, ran badly at Newmarket (where she has not placed in three career visits) and her best two performances have been on soft ground. This leads me to OSTILIO, who was thrashed six lengths by Without Parole but has won both races since, including the Britannia at Royal Ascot. Despite the size of the field, the Golden Mile is a race that I normally look at because so many of them have no recent form, come here with suspect Ascot form or are badly drawn. The problem is that pretty much eliminates the entire field this year. Escobar makes the most appeal but what use is a good draw to a hold up horse that will need gaps? Battaash would not be my idea of an odds-on shot in the King George Stakes. He won it last year but I would be worried about the current form of his yard; and Crowley blew the King’s Stand Stakes from the front. With Could It Be Love out of the Oak Tree Stakes, it looks a good opportunity for PRETTY BABY, short-headed in a similar Group 3 contest last time over a furlong less with a couple of these behind; and hailing from an in-form yard.
I'm also going to Thirsk today. The temptation was to just back De Sousa's horses however I've had a good look at the cards and three that are standing out are. 2:45 - Boudica Bay 9/2 4:30 - Thirlmere 15/2 5:35 - Spirit Of Wedza 6/1
Rare bet for me midweek but I see Firmament is back out today after Saturday when I backed it. Maybe step up to a mile will suit and therefore having a 2nd stab at this one. 12/1 e.w 5 places in the 3pm Goodwood race.
hi fellas! bangor,4 20 not an especially strong contest, but i think,HERMANUS can go well here.well, cartmel form is always to treat with a bit of caution, but she beat some sollid yardsticks there last time out,and a 4 lbr rise looks fair.so,if allowed to bowl in front again, can go well today.e w player..
bangor,4 50 at first sight,NEMEAN LION has a bit to prove here on form, but if you dare look closer,he might be worth supporting, because his second last run has been working out really well, with three of his rivals scoring again since.so,not to be underestimated..
