The Attractions were one of the great backing bands in Rock history, the Thomas's (Bruce and Pete, not related) rhythm section was superb with Pete's driving beat and Bruce's melodic basslines and then Steve Nieve's classically trained keyboards were truly exciting.
Add this to EC's acerbic songs and sneering vocals and it was perfect for 1978!..

Here you go Fats, this one is from Blondie's massive hit album, Parallel Lines which was the soundtrack for much of 1978 and spawned several hit singles too.
This is one of the lesser recognised songs, but I love it for Robert Fripp's wonderful guitar breaks...
