Nobody wants Samaras because he can't cut it in this league. He had hardly impressed in Scotland either according to a lot of Celtic fans. If he can't look canny against the likes of Kilmarnock and Third Lanark he's going to struggle in the PL.

Pavylychenko doesn't excite me. Crouch was a top class player about 3-5 years ago and seems to have lost sight of where the goal is. Mind you if that lass of his was waiting at home for me I'd be struggling to concentrate on football.

I wonder if we will end up with someone that hasn't been mentioned. How old would Tom Ritchie be now?. He may make a comeback!

I may have red something earlier that the Bundesliga have a list that contains players registered for transfers and if a players name hasnt been invluded by the club, they cant be sold? Not sure if thats the way it read or not. It went on to say that Cisse wasnt included so couldnt be sold. Not sure about Helmes.

 

Third Lanark went out of business in 1967 so it's not surprising he didn't impress against them. He wasn't even born then..
