I like having both, though Sky's certainly not very good value. That individual charging for sport channels turned out to be a bit of a con, you can get just football, or cricket, or golf, or F1, for £18 a month, but it was/is only £22 a month for all of them. I binned BT though, £26 a month to watch the odd Premier League or Champions League game's not worth it.
BT is free if you’re on EE for your mobile phone contract. Well it’s supposed to be for a limited time but two years later, they’ve still not charged me.
Sky are showing eSports today as they’re showing a FIFA competition on their Sky Sports PL channel. I can see the target audience they’re going for - I’m in that target audience - but this is an absolute waste of money and is like anything you can get on Twitch for free.
Wasn't long ago You paid for sky and got all premier league uk tv games Champions league La liga Now sky has lost 1/3 of the uk tv prem games Lost champions league Lost la liga And it doesn't cost less i believe
I have Netflix and personally think it’s a bit ****. They take too long to refresh what is available and what is available is usually old hat.
A friend pays for the 4 accounts in one and gives me one I wouldn't pay for it myself Each to their own
Sky is decent value for me , because I don't have the internet , I just use my phone . So I pay 30 quid for my package with sports and movies , and I'd have to pay at least 35.00 quid a month to get Karoos basic package . Plus I like sky plus for series link . I basically like to pretend it's still 2002 .
I stayed in an apartment on holiday where Netflix was included , as I don't have it at home I was quite excited but thought the films on there where awful , better choice on sky movies
I can never find football on Spotify. £10 a month and they just play music and leave you on hold. It's a proper rip off
Agreed. I have Netflix for their original shows and the TV. They do have a lot of good films (and a **** ton of bad ones, too), but I don't use Netflix for films and don't watch them unless I really want to.
I’m finding the standard of next day Prime delivery is dropping. In the last 2 weeks I’ve had to wait two days, twice & three days for summat else. Bastards.
Do we really need stuff delivered the next day, or by drone, or the same day? I'd sooner see a healthy and thriving High Street than have blokes on minimum wage or less driving around in vans delivering stuff that half the time we don't need at all but certainly rarely need the next day. We're being led by the nose by aggressive retailers all trying desperately to capture market share at any cost. I say **** 'em!
