Even if they did, you haven't signed one average player, far less two, so no chance of bridging that gap! Doesn't help that we've been signing some really class players too, making that gap even bigger.

As I see it: LFB - Phillips CB - Jansson RFB - Berardi LWB - Douglas DCM - Klich RWB - Ayling ACM - Hernandez ALM - Saiz CF - Bamford ARM - Harrison Bench - Dallas, Pearce, Roofe, Edmondson, Alioski, Baker, Cooper, Forshaw Squad = 20 with 2 keepers, plus no 5 & Maddison/Ryan Woods to come, hopefully. That looks stronger than last year to me?

If you think 13th is a massive backward step then we can expect some giant strides from Millwall this season as they hit reverse gear.
What about our £3M signing from the last January window ? It's nice that we've made so many good signings lately that we forget one that is potentially the best.
Wouldn't surprise me if he walked or jumps into the first championship managerial shop that becomes available. I can't hate him or feel sorry for him, but I feel he peaked here with us and for whatever reason bottled it. Swansea was gift wrapped for him but he had a chance of stamping a monk team all over us and it almost worked. Scrap heap for him in the near future IMO (or millwall)
Thought about that myself Ristac, taking Hernandez out to act as impact sub at no 10. Maybe the missing Roberts on the right? Him or Baker. It will take a while to get all our options fit & gelled though - we'll see Cooper in this weekend, and nobody's saying much about the severity of the Forshaw toe injury.
