Sky Remain commentator Christina Patterson warned last night that Brexit will lead to a return of Mad Cow Disease. Sigh!
Are you still clinging to the pretence that there is anything remotely positive to be gained from this sorry ****ing pantomime Goldie?
Bloody hell I finally got a decent internet connection! Haven't seen much news but I heard something about Jewish newspapers and Corbyn? Good old gezzer he knows exactly how not to get voted in!
Being in the EU at the moment makes me think that some underate our country. Roads are good here but they are behind us in so many ways.
The proud British government is actually openly stating how it is stockpiling food and medical supplies and that we should be comforted by this. No joke.
I am in France more currently than the U.K. There are differences and it takes years to compare the two Happy with my tech reliable and about twice as fast than London I could cherry pick the pros which imo out number the UK but it’s each to their own
Can’t say I had any WiFi issues in a fairly remote part of France recently. Great food and wine, transport is superb, countryside which ****s on ours. Loved it around Chamonix.
Remain Campaign then: Oh come on, the EU hardly has any control of your life at all! It's all made up by lying Brexiteers! Remain Campaign now: IF WE LEAVE WE WON'T HAVE FOOD OR MEDICINE OR PLANES! STOCKPILE NOW!!!!
The problem is probably both, IMO Social media IS mainstream media now. More people seem to get their info there than anywhere else. So you get the cynical preying on the gullible. The people owning the platforms really do need to step up and take responsibility for the effects of misinformation being deliberately shared on their sites, especially in cases like we’ve seen between Russia and the US, where the evidence for collusion and opinion manipulation is overwhelming. People do need to broaden their information sources as well. If you only pay attention to Fox and Twitter, you’ll never get to see what is really happening.
Agree, countryside here has some great views however it is 3 times bigger than the UK so you get more space and less houses. Saying that there is some beautiful places in the UK which I visited recently. As for the food? I am beginning to think that is an expensive myth. in Carcassonne area at present and wasn't impressed with meal last night. Mrs Ellers described the meal as awful and overpriced.
The U.K. has some wonderful spots that can’t be beaten and that will never change At times the French roads are gridlocked but not on the same scale as the U.K. The difference is space along but the Europeans seem not to hesitate where there are route hotspots if it gets busy then they act and build in new links Sadly the U.K. builds in a different way Profit houses first without thinking of the effects of transport imo Example the A9 near Montpellier was getting tight at certain times of the day so the French walked in a new 35Km section of motorway in about 9 months . Incredible to see how fast they work everywhere close to me as modern life gets quicker but as said they have the space and expertise to complete these projects
I was in Bordeaux for the Euros where you’d have thought they might try and take the piss but you could do a beautiful three course meal including duck, steak etc. for €20 a head and wine was cheap too for the quality. Nowadays with Tripadvisor, you can find a good place anywhere.
Up to you to decide Today I get on average 63meg a sec from Orange for 32€ a month where I am Very happy with it
