But I just passed St Mary's on the way to work and I swear I spotted the following queuing up at reception...

    Lionel Messi
    Lionel Blair
    Richard the Lionheart
    Lenny the Lion
    Hassan Kachloul

I'd be happy with Lenny the Lion as he is quality and could really strengthen the squad, I think the rest are unproven at this level though. However, Richard the Lionheart has obvious leadership qualities we might be able to benefit from.

As always, I wont believe any of it until it's on the OS.

  8. Lenny from John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" passed his medical but failed a basic IQ test. His agent George shrugged his shoulders and muttered something about being better suited finding work as a farmhand or something...

I seem to remember that Steinbeck wrote a novel called The Wayward Bus, he obviously hadn't heard of our Nigel's bus which is far from wayward.

What kind of bus does Nigel Adkins have, is it a Routemaster or more like a coach?

Fidgety mood today. Truthfully, I don't really care if we sign any player today or not. I'd like Puncheon left in someone else's bus station, that's certain. But I've realised that having been fed on a diet of instability for the past 20 years, I'm not used to 1] Saints doing extremely well for a prolonged run, which is approximately since Nicola and Markus walked in the door, sorry building [got to keep my Adkinisms up to scratch]. And 2] It being extremely quiet on the speculation front, knowing that, really, all is well and I don't have to concern myself. All I have to do is let Adkins and Cortese get on with doing what's best for Saints, and I'll get off back to work for the rest of the day and find out what's what tonight.

Oh well, earliest I can get back to this is around 6pm, so no doubt I will. ;)
