Ah, he said he is gutted which I guess shows loyalty like Barton....but he also tweeted earlier he is with his mum and brother...and guess where they live.....London
He then wrote this though "On way back to Manchester peeps just jokes people luv u all tweeps" Does he have previous for making jokes like that? Maybe he spilled the beans and was told to backtrack until it's made official tomorrow..
skysports saying his heading QPRs WAY. Sky Sports sources understand that Queens Park Rangers are closing on the signing of Shaun Wright-Phillips. A host of clubs have been looking at the England international, who is only on the fringes of the first-team squad at the Etihad Stadium. Wright-Phillips had held talks with a number of clubs and Bolton had seem favourites to land his signature. But QPR have been looking to finalise a permanent deal for the 29-year-old and they look to have won the race. Former Chelsea man Wright-Phillips is set to complete a move back to London on Wednesday, ahead of the transfer window closing.
Thats that one done and dusted. Next please!. SSN seem to be very accurate and if I hear it from them, then its as good as done. Dann/Ridgwell,another striker and we have a real chance of staying in this division...who would have thought it after the Bolton game just a few weeks ago?....
NW is dining at the Premier League table; but he's just on his starter guys. Now he's got to get this lot to gel, without the usual pre-season 'team spirit' tour to pull everyone together. NW has his main course ahead of him, and it's a full plate of delicacies confronting him. It's going to take him a while to get through it, but there's a deserving dessert at the end if he can stay up! Now there's a good use of analogies!
I believe that it is more like NW having bought a jigsaw without a picture on it. He's still buying a few extra pieces and we will have to wait and see if he can make anything of it.
Well looks like SWP deal is off.....he tweeted: "aint gone nowhere, still a city ppl" just now so we can cross that one off.
Yeah and last night he'd tweeted he'd gone. Don't believe it till it's official, think he's just playing games.
Chief football writer Phil McNulty can confirm that QPR have agreed a fee with Manchester City for Shaun Wright-Phillips, a move which may still be completed today even though there has been a late hitch over finance.
Basically he wants more money than we will give him, so he'd rather sit on the bench at Man City and collect his wage......which is why he tweeted he isnt going anywhere.
