http://www.gomotorsport.net/en-GB/default.html I believe that there is a concept as "National Motor Sport Week" but unfortunately I have not seen much publicity about it on this forum. Surprising really, considering the immense level of expertise that members like to boast about. So, what is it all about? ps - I know I should have posted this article on the "other" section.
Hello RI. You know, if you were a little less antagonistic, you might enjoy this forum. P.S. I've not read your link; I know all about it… (I couldn't resist. Come on, give us a smile! )
Go MotorSport was set up years ago in order to encourage people to get involved in the sport at any level. The site explains how people can join in each weekend. I posted the article on the F1 section in order to try to give the concept maximum exposure on this particular forum. Over the years I have read enquiries from people anxious to find out how to get involved in motor sport as marshals or mechanics or anything. The website has been designed to give people answers and encouragement to participate.

It is a very good idea. it's nice to try and encourage others, particularly younger people, such as myself, to get into motorsport, even if it is just marshalling. It could bolster this countries driving talent in the future, if we tell people to stop lpaying cricket, and grab a go kart.
