I really, really, really want Southampton FC to be relegated this season. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm rather fond of the club and have many Saints fans as friends and neighbours. But, as well as these dudes 'giving it large' to me for my many suffering years as a QPR supporter, well... they've got Bloody Mark Bloody Hughes as their manager now. They've just lost 3-0 to a Derby side managed by a rookie Frank Lampard. I hope this is an omen for the coming season! What are your wishes for the coming season and why?
QPR to have the Championship title in the bag by Christmas and anyone but City and Chelsea to win the Prem.
Someone to be stupid enough to give us money for Joel Lynch would be nice but just good health to you all as I won’t be optimistic enough to ask for a top six finish. 6+ away wins would make a welcome change.
McLaren to build a team similar to that of the late Dave Sexton's side, where the team pass and move the ball around effortlessly resulting in a successful season
To watch an enjoyable season of football which I haven’t done for a while from the Hoops, oh & see Hughes get sacked!
I would like to have a bit of excitement this season, a stint challenging at the top be it ever so brief, a couple of cup wins in a row to make us dream again, a player coming good when we had given up on him (Washington maybe?), some good football, just a bit of hope and an end to the humdrum past couple of seasons, not too much to ask is it?
In no particular order, see QPR challenge at the top end of the table, see an end to the FFP fiasco, see some bricks in the ground for both training ground and new stadium (yeah, I'm a true dreamer, but it is a wish), see Roman do a runner from Chelski and they plummet down the table with no investment, win some cup games, win some away games, play decent football - and finally a great big party with all the Not606 family together (politics banned from this event)
QPR to finish in top six. FA to wake up and see that money is ruining the game and therefore apply a spending limit on clubs such that the game is won/lost on players abilities not how deep the owners' pockets are.
QPR to play entertaining football and finish in the top 10 (top 6 would be lovely but I’m trying to be realistic) Roman to be found guilty of money laundering and the scum being relegated to the Vauxhall conference (or whatever it’s called now) Sparkless getting relegated
See the team (whoever they finally put on the pitch) play like a team, play for the badge, and improve as the season develops. Oh, and play at least one game in the away kit without being laughed at by the opposition fans. C'mon - it's just a colour and a pattern...
I would like ,QPR to go to Wembley ( and win). I would take any of the three ways that could happen. If that cannot happen I would like Steve getting them playing as a real team, who play and want to win for each other as a team. Turn us into a positive force...a team that we could go into every and any match thinking we have a great chance of winning home or away... Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
That the bloke who sits somewhere to my left and arrives 5 mins late for every game, leaves 5 mins before half time and then totters back in 5 mins after kick off, every bloody week, didn’t renew his season ticket.
To see that there is a production line bringing through technically better and better youngsters so that we are not reliant on anyone staying and that our future is likely to be filled with competitive teams. To challenge for playoffs and at least a top 10 finish. To still be interested in the FA Cup in February. Even a 4th round replay would do.
