If Harrison leaves that leaves us with 1 untried striker ( Reilly) at this level and 1 ( Nichols ) who unfortunately cant hit the side of a barn. Would Ipswich pay £1.6m for a fourth choice striker? He's a very good all rounder who's quite underrated. Had a very good season last time out.
Went to the open day at the Mem and was told that Ellis Harrison has signed for Ipswich, when DC was asked by a supporter if there would be a replacement though he didn't confirm that Ellis had left said I am waiting to see how much the board will give me. I asked Tom lockyer if he was staying and he said where else would I be, I said that I had read comments in the press and he just that's Ellis not me
I was at the Mem too. DC actually confirmed on the pitch when being interviewed that Harrison will be signing for a championship club and will be confirmed Monday. This will just leave us with Nichols and Reilly We are in all sorts of trouble now. Unless DC can find 2/3 strikers in under 2 weeks and get them match fit and gelling nicely.
