So they break FFP rulea, get a season long ban from the Europa league, take it to court, court finds in their favour, now they're back in the Europa league and FFP rules are absolutely ****ing useless. Who'd have thunk it? What a waste of time. What I don't understand is how a court can decide what rules a private members organisation can and can't have in the interest of keeping fair competition, so long as they're legal. I can't see how a ban could be considered illegal and the CAS only ruled that it was 'disproportionate'. Wonder what sort of precedent this sets with regards to domestic FFP rules and if they're now utterly worthless too?
