I think there is a lot of indecisiveness on how to handle it. From what I have read there seems to be doubt that Salbutamol wouldn't improve performance, so there is no reason why Froome would take more than prescribed, which leads to the train of thought that it was somehow a natural body reaction under the circumstances at the timer that triggers an abnormal reading. I am certainly in the camp that doesn't believe Froome has taken drugs, other than those allowed under a TUE.
By dragging it out it just seems a farce that he will go to TdF with this hanging over him and it should be have been decided one way or another some time ago.
I fully agree, though the implications are pretty big, so I guess they want to be sure they are making their decision as water tight as possible.
I think the UCI would like to avoid another hugely embarrassing drug incident for a GC rider, allied to the fact that Salbutamol isn't a performance enhancer they certainly want to get everything right.
My worry is the delay just allows conspiracy theorists to have a field day when they finally come to a decision.
Great stage win for Geraint Thomas yesterday with Froome coming in 3rd, G now in Yellow and Froome second in the standings. please log in to view this image
Tremendous stage and an amazing ride by Thomas, I wonder when / if we'll see Sky changing leader and potentially Froome riding for Thomas?
noticed on 1st mountain of the day about 2.5 km from summit painted on the road was Anglesey FC Coal not Dole Welsh NUM
Fear for Froome this year on the tour, the Froome haters didn't get the result their wanted with the doping inquiry . the oncourse security is non-existent in places fear some idiot will tries to make a name for himself, really hope i'm wrong.
BRILLIANT AGAIN TODAY GT.... I wonder what the riding instructions are... and if they'll change... 1:39 ahead of Froome now...
Two up there is good insurance so it's good for the team, they still have to work together at this point.
