I never really understand or understood formations London. Back in the day, it was either 442 or 433 and the team numbers were 1 to 11. Keep it simple, like me...
Nice one,I was expecting a comment like that. That's why I said I realise it's only a friendly and you can't read too much into it. But I think the lads at least tried and compared to some pre season games it was like watching Barcelona at times. What did you expect...
Will you go and **** off to Spain, ****ing sick of your ****e now. If it's banter or fishing well done you got me. I'm no happy chappy as you put it, but FFS it's the first warm up match the lads have played. All I said was I enjoyed it, so ****ing what. That doesn't mean I think we'll win the league. It was a good run out and it'll have shaken a few cobwebs away. I would love to see a few new signings, but I want the right ones. If the manager thinks he can work with the ones he has well so be it. If it goes tits up I'm sure you'll be coming in your jocks. Your moaning and constant criticism of the team has worn thin now.
The criticism of this owner and his lack of investment is fully justified. If the conning Cnut had not produced so much pr last season and followed it up by saying investment was coming then fair enough. I want to see a team at least trying to get out of this league and it’s clear we arnt. If you enjoyed it then I am pleased for you... To me it looked the same players flattering to deceive as last Year and we already know they arnt good enough. This squad needs a minimum of five players of quality that can form the spine of the team we currently haven’t got. As it stands they will finish lower than last season. When you thought it was happening you were pleased we were getting new players.... bigger picture nothing has changed..
Grot and Weidwald out, Baker and Blackman in is a fine start though. Not that I have seen much of either but I can guarantee it is an improvement. As Shaks says, a few more of the right ones and we could finish even higher than last year
Is the Blackman loan worth the risk of losing PF. I don't know but if PF is the future then what we need is an understudy not someone coming in as a temporary first choice. IMO Ideal world/ an experienced keeper to show PF good habits should have been signed. Baker ... Don't know but midfield was the one area where we are at least covered by average players and have much bigger priorities. A striker who understands the little round thing goes in the big rectangle with the net behind it, defenders who know without the ball the opposition cant score and if we pass to our own team we have a chance.
As I said, a few more of the right ones PF was third choice a year ago and supposedly going to York or somewhere on loan. If we pick based upon form he should relish the competition. He did well end of last season but now we go again and need two quality keepers. Well done Rads
The way rads is going all the ****e we still have are keepers. That southern pooftah is just on a fishing trip but forgot to bait the hook.
Thought Alioski was disappointing Apols if this has been discussed already Sais and Pablo (for a while) looked good but then they would wouldn’t they?
I will always welcome new players if they are in the best interest for the team. I don't remember saying anything regarding being on board or off board about new players. I'm presuming it's your fake news and just making up things that I'm supposed to have said. We obviously watched a different game. I watch with a positive attitude, you just look for the negatives. Upwards and on wards to York... as for being a grumpy bollox, look in the mirror.
Haven't checked but if this game is at Bootham Crescent I might go, When is it? I am sure they will benefit from my advice being voiced from behind the dug out.
