QPR Hope to Bring Man United Striker Michael Owen In On Loan Deal QPR boss Neil Warnock will attempt to persuade Sir Alex Ferguson to loan the West London club Michael Owen.on a season long loan deal. The Loftus Road boss is keen to beef up his attacking options and hopes that the great form shown by youngster Danny Welbeck will convince the Old Trafford boss to allow the former England man to move in order to get some match needed first team action. The 31 year old striker is way down the pecking order at Man United with Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, the aforementioned Welbeck and Dimitar Berbatov all ahead in the queue so the chance to get some competitive action may appeal to the former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle United man. Though the injury prone star is currently sidelined he is set to return from a suspected back problem soon and Warnock will offer to pay the strikerâs full wage packet thanks to the new investment brought to the club by chairman Tony Fernandes. QPR managed to bring in Joey Barton to help add quality to the clubâs midfield and will now look to do likewise in the attacking third. The newly promoted club has managed just one goal in four games this season, including firing a blank at home to Rochdale in Carling Cup action, and could well do with new striking options. Whilst Owen has sat out a lot of football over the past few seasons, when called upon he has proved a regular goalscorer, netting 14 goals in 48 appearances, of which 33 were coming on from the bench. Warnock will feel that the addition of an experienced player like Michael Owen.they will stand a far better chance of retaining their Premier League status.
that is some high quality made up bullshyte being a journo seems pretty easy......... Step 1. Make up loads of crap Step 2. Print loads of crap Simples! I'm in the wrong line of work................
The stands will soon be full of aging, injured players. We'll be the first to do per minute contracts since half the team can't make it past 3.15 before yet another hamstring injury. In fact, is the physio on performance related pay? He mind end up richer than the Mittals... (Owen is, of course, great when fit and given a run in a team)
Hate to infiltrate but the words Michael + Owen set alarm bells ringing over on the NUFC board .. hope this is complete nonsense for you, Owen is only good for one thing, filling his boots with cash .. he only plays 5 - 10 games for United for a reason .. he'd be a complete waste of a squad place and would only join you for the money and to warm a seat in the stands for you .. much in the same way he did for us for so many years .. invest your money elsewhere if you have it .. Look up busted flush in the dictionary and there's a picture of this c*** ... Anyway, good luck for the season ahead ..
When fit and on his game he could do alot for us this season just my opinion i doubt will get him though most journos love to talk ****
Thats the key part "when fit" and thats hardly ever......the guy has hamstrings tighter than a ducks harris.
I'm glad to see most Rs fans have seen this twat for what he is. If he joins and you have a dodgy start he'll **** you over and give zero effort. Woeful player, woeful attitude
I don't want him either but who ever thought we would see the day when QPR were being linked with the likes of Owen and, better still, us supporters happy to turn him away!
